‘’Hi, boss,’’ Marilyn said coyly, as she stepped inside Gerald’s office. He raised his eyes to look at her. It was unlikely that she would enter his office when there was no need for her to, so he looked forward to what she wanted to tell him.
‘’Yup. Madam,’’ Gerald replied, shifting his entire attention to her. He liked Marilyn a lot, but obviously, he could not have her, and he was done with being a sore loser about it, so he admired her from afar.
