Marilyn rolled her eyes when her phone started ringing, and she saw that the call was from Beanie.
She shook her head because she knew that Gerald had reported her to Beanie as quickly as he could. Did he think that his reporting her would stop her from resigning?
His uncle was a bad asshole that she had to stay away from, especially now that Leo was leaving Lion in no time, and she would not have him around to look out for her. Not that Leo was doing anything specifical for her, but the fact that he was around her in Lion, kind of helped to ward off anyone that would want to take advantage of her, especially Beanie. He was careful around her, no matter how badly he wanted her.
