By the time we returned to the estate, the sun was beginning to set. I climbed out of the SUV and stretched. “I'll admit it.” I said randomly. “That sounds dangerous.” Dante looked at me. “I had a good time.” I smiled. “I know.” He said. “How?” I frowned. “You didn't complain for almost an hour.” He replied. “That's your measurement?” I laughed. “With you? Yes.” He said, shaking his head. We walked toward the house. Several of Dante's men were gathered near the entrance. The moment Dante approached, their conversations stopped. Their posture changed. They were afraid of him. I had noticed it before, but seeing it after spending the afternoon with him felt different. “What happened?” Dante stopped. “We have a problem.” One of the men stepped forward. “What kind?” He asked.
