Chapter 4

422 Words
During the car ride, I sat in passenger seat I had no energy to drive. I looked down at my phone I had over 20 miss calls from Jake and one text saying, " What happened last night, are you girls okay?" Part of me wanted to cuss him out the other part wanted to believe he had nothing to do with last night. Either way I need to focus on my parents. Part of me has always felt missing and getting closer to knowing what happened to me could fix my mental health. "Almost there!", Anne said as she was humming the song, she will be loved. I snapped out of my thoughts and looked up. We were in the good part of town, I always imagined if I had my parents this is where I would have grown up maybe with sister or brother. I looked out the window as the car stopped, two story house with a beautiful fountain out front. Anne pov I pulled my phone out and texted Nick, I'm out front come out!!!!!!! 30 seconds later I seen the door open. Nick had on grey sweats with a grey hoodie, his short brown hair was messy, and he had his black glasses on. "Well, well, well, why do I owe the pleasure to be in the presents of two beautiful girls this morning?" He said with such a low sexy voice. I thought to myself why couldn't I just date someone like Nick? Why do I always go for the playboys? "Hi Nicky, this is Lucey she needs your help". Nick paused there staring at Lucey then said " Well come on in, don't mind the mess. By the way I still live with my parents, but they don't mind me having company". Lucey Pov I looked at the guy that came out of the house, I felt an instant connection. Part of me felt like I've known him my whole life but that wasn't possible. My eyes instantly drew to his as he came to the window, his smell was so inviting. I heard that voice in my head again " Home " it said. Home? what in the world was wrong with me. We started to follow Nick inside; his house was extremely beautiful. We passed two living rooms and started up the stairs into a master room that had three computers and so many electronics all over the place. Anne wasn't kidding when she said he might actually be able to help me.
