After the strange Alpha the night before, I was a little nervous about Saturday. We were supposed to be going to Carkeek Park, a large natural park located in the heart of the city. With woods, a beach, multiple hiking paths, orchards, and a number of hidden areas, it was a popular destination for both humans and supernatural creatures alike. Natural plants that held cures for ills, fresh fruits that grew wild, salmon spawning areas, and a well kept beach were all part of the appeal of the area. My Alphas wanted to go for a run in the woods, an area that most humans avoided in favor of the open meadow and beach.
