9 If wandering around the city the night before had felt like we’d left New York a world away, following Eric through the winding streets around the base of the hill where the Acropolis itself stood seemed like we’d fallen into a different time. In the little neighborhood built of uneven alleys and super old houses, where there were stairs set into the street so there was no way a car could follow you, it sort of felt like we’d stepped into a fairy tale.
