SIX MONTHS LATER
it has been six months of total bliss. I couldn’t have asked for more. And everyday I’m happy I decided to stay after all. To give things a chance.
It looked difficult in the first few days and I often wished to leave everything behind but Adrik had spent every waking moment loving me and giving me reasons not to leave.
I was heavy with child. Nearing my last month. The babe was restless and I felt it’ll come out before it’s due date.
We had not checked the gender. Everyone wanted it to be a surprise. I also got to meet the rest of the family. I was overwhelmed with the love I got from them. Everyone was excited to see me.
I was shocked. Expected some to be hateful because of the things I did in the past. None were. Githa was the happiest to see me. Ksenia too.
