When I woke up, I was in a soft bed. My eyes opened and I looked around. Adriks room. I tried to stand up but I felt to tired. I noticed the bandages on my arm and the iv line.
Whatever it is that was the problem, I was awake now and I needed some water. I pulled out the iv line and sat up, using my other hand to hold my head.
I stood up gently from the bed and the room swayed. I held the headboard to steady myself.
"You should be in bed" he said from behind me. I turned slowly to look at him. He was in a button down shirt and his normally arranged hair was all over the place.
"I...." He cut me off and helped me back into the bed.
"I want water" I croaked. He poured water in a glass and gently helped me drink.
