“Him? What did he do?” Aleks asked concerned.
“He injected me with something. I can’t stay here please” I cried hysterically.
“Calm down. This is Dimitrov and he’s a doctor”
“I saw him. He leaned over me and injected me with something. I’m not lying. You have to believe me”
“It’s okay” he said soothingly. But he didn’t sound like he believed me.
“You need to sleep” he said gently. I didn’t have time to protest, I felt a pinch in my neck and I could feel the sleep draw me. I felt betrayed by Aleks but I couldn’t tell him because I blacked out.
“Mama” a small voice called. I looked around but I couldn’t find the source of the voice.
“Mama” the voice called again followed by a small chuckle. I tried to follow the sound of the voice but I couldn’t move.
“Mama” the voice was even closer
