ADRIKS POV
The sound of my phone ringing woke me up from my sleep. The call ended before I could pick the call. I looked at the time. It was a little past three in the morning.
The small body beside me snuggled deeper and I smiled. She looked so peaceful when she was asleep.
I should be wary of her. Someone without a background should be a red flag but I couldn’t find it in me to push her away.
The thought of her leaving me was enough to drive me crazy. It shouldn’t be so but I couldn’t help the heart.
My phone pinged and I read the text.
“We have left the dungeon” it was Aleks.
I had left them earlier, eager to go up to Maia and I had one one of the most peaceful sleep ever since I became boss.
