Chapter 27
Four months had passed by I was recovering slowly. My bones felt like I was an elderly lady. I had shattered the bones in my pelvis in several places. My whole life flashed before my eyes that day. I remember telling the ambulance to get Kaley out first. I don’t know how long I blacked out for or exactly what happened. My car was written off beyond repair. Carl spent as much time as he could in the hospital. I was finally reunited with Kaley, Nicole and Pedro these three got me through some of the hardest days of being in hospital. I couldn’t sit or walk around anywhere for almost three months. I made it home just before Kaley turned two.
