Amelia's pov
"He is my long-time friend" was the only answer I could come up with. "I am sorry Amelia, I didn't know the children knew anything about him" She had a guilty look on her face when the children were in their world.
"Hey don't sweat it," I told her, and we continued playing with the kids. She left late, and the children bombarded me with questions.
"Are you not my curious trio?" I pulled their cheeks. "Mummy stop that, I am a big boy now," Jayden said, and Kayden supported him.
"Really?" I was astonished. "You are still my baby." I laid down on the bed getting ready for their outburst, but I got nothing. I looked up at them and saw them all wearing a mischievous look. Before I could figure them out, they attacked me, tickling me.
They giggled as they succeeded in bringing out the right reaction from me. Joy filled my heart seeing their smiles. "Mummy was screaming like a baby," Kayden said, laughing while holding his stomach, and Isabella and Jayden joined him.
"Mister man, I wasn't screaming", I defended myself. "Mummy is a big baby," Isabella said, sitting on me. "Big babies are cute like me" Kayden and Jayden rolled their eyes at her.
"We are the handsome big boys'' Kayden boosted. "Have you checked the mirror too?" Isabella gave a dramatic pause. "You got a mole on your forehead''
They both searched their faces for the moul and I muffled my laughter. "You are jealous, just admit we are handsome," Jayden said when he realized Isabella was pulling their legs.
"Let's ask Mum," Isabella said, and they all turned to me. I hate being put in such situations by the kids. I raised my brows. "What now?"
"Who is cute?" Isabella asked me. "Handsome," Kayden added. Three pairs of eyes waited for me to give my judgment.
"You all are my cuties," I said, and they all groaned. "Mummy" Jayden and Kayden left the room leaving me and Isabella laughing at them.
"Mummy, Aunt Clara is a nice woman, '' she told me. I smiled at her. "Will she come and play with us again?" I stretched my phone to her. "You have to ask her yourself."
She called Clara and Clara promised to come and play with them as she loved the children. Isabella went to join her brother in a movie and I had time to work from home.

I got to the church and sat down at the back to avoid attention. The kids understood the situation and didn't make a fuss. I wonder how they can understand the situation. I was on a shade and a scarf, which was the only thing that could blend with the crowd.
Kayden and Jayden also had shades. They claimed they were cool kids. Isabella was the little Bride's maid so she was getting ready with Clara. I skimmed through the crowd and caught sight of Paris.
What was she doing here? Clara broke her friendship with her when she found out of her betrayal. I looked beside her and my heart skipped a beat. Beside her was Nicholas. I couldn't see his face, but I knew it was him. I can recognize him anywhere. They were together after all.
Music started playing, and I looked forward and saw the groom. He was smiling, his eyes trained on the door, expecting his bride to walk to the altar. I turned and saw my little princess dressed in a white dress throwing petals off the floor. I mentally thanked Clara for putting a veil on her. She was beautiful, and she looked like a small bride.
Clara entered the church with her arm on her father's arm. She was beautiful, and she wore a smile on her face, her face was trained on her husband, Derek.
I went down the memory lane to my wedding day. I walked to the altar alone as if I was an orphan. Why am I thinking about the past now? I smiled and watched as the wedding procession took place.
The smile on the newly wedded was broad and beautiful. My little princess came running to me saying "Mummy, I am the little bride". I kissed her cheek. "You are beautiful."
I got a call from work and went out to pick up the call. I saw Nickolas holding a small girl's hand heading to a car. Did he have a child now? Just when they were about to enter, Paris came towards them and hugged Nickolas.
I took my eyes off them as I felt the familiar pain in my chest. I blinked back the tears threatening to fall. I looked back and saw they were gone.
After 6 years of seeing him, I still felt something. I hate him for what he did to me years back, but I can't forget the love I had for him. I loved him for 4 years.
"Mummy" I heard Kayden's voice and snapped out of my thoughts. He was without his shades. "Where is your shade Kayden?" I asked to look around to make sure nobody was looking.
"I got tired of it", I sighed and told him to stay where he was to get his siblings. On getting outside, Kayden was missing. My heart stopped and started beating fast. I looked around but didn't see a little child. I was about to look for him when he came back holding a man.
I took him from the man and held my children afraid of someone taking them from me. "Mummy, uncle here got me a toy", he raised the toy gun for me to see, and I looked back at the stranger.
"Hello, Miss. Lorenzo" he smiled, making his dimples show. He was tall with blond hair, and he had an earpiece on one ear.
I ignored the name. "Who are you?" I asked him. "My name is Edward and I work for Mr. Lorenzo" Who is Lorenzo? As if reading my thoughts, he said "He asked me to bring you to him."
"I don't know who you are talking about, and I am not going with you. Who gave you the right to take my child with you?" I said and stopped a cab.
"Mr. Lorenzo wants to talk to you", he stretched the phone to me. I closed the door of the cab and eyed the phone in his hands.
I collected it and answered it. "Welcome back granddaughter" a fragile voice sounded over the phone.
"What do you want from me?" Why did he want to see me now when he never did years back? Everything was confusing and I was losing my mind.
"When you get here you will find out, and I want to see my great-grandchildren". I gave Edward back the phone and I watched as he listened to the instructions given to him.
"This way" He pointed to an expensive black car.
Who is this man claiming to be my grandfather? Who am I?
