The secrets of the night

Chapter four

After cleaning all the empty tables we were starting to prepare for the last guests of the evening, thank god I was starving and also I tried and by the looks Lucy had the same thoughts as me. Though we were tired we are used to this so it came easy to us to do the work as quick as we could. So we started preparing the tables for the guests and praying that they won't be long. 

After 20 minutes me and Lucy had everything set and ready. Somehow I was feeling kind of strange, as if I could sense someone that was very close to me coming for me somehow. It was difficult to explain, but it was something like having butterflies in your stomach. But me being me, I chose to ignore it as there was no point in making them known.

Around 10 minutes till 9 people started coming in, and it wasn't just a small amount of people there was more than we all thought. It was a big business meeting but Angela being Angela didn't mind, she was jumping about like a little child waiting for candy. To be honest with you I have never seen her like this it was something new for me and lucy. Sadly I still had that stupid feeling in me, maybe it was just nerves right ? 

What i did not know was who the company belong to and who I would soon belong to. The most shocking thing that happened was that my mother and father entered the restraunt and I was absolutely horrified. How the hell did they know I was here? Did they track me ? Did they make someone follow me ? Or are they here with the company? So many questions where running through my head it was all so confusing what the hell was going on ? 

"Hey Amelia are you okay, you don't look so good girl." Lucy's concerned voice distracted me from the thoughts running in my head. I was so busy looking at my parents I didn't notice her standing next to me o was so shocked that it took me some time to come back to reality. 

"Yeah yeah am fine, did you know my parents are here? Actually can I see the guest list I wanna see if they are on it" I asked with a shaky voice. I knew that if they saw me here I would be in big trouble, but I guess they will see me either way, I mean I wasn't doing anything bad right ? Or was i ? I couldn't get it around my head I was so confused. 

Then i saw something being waved at in front of my face. It was Lucy with the guest list " Here you go boo. Why is it important that you wanted to see the guest list anyway ? If I may ask." She was as happy as Angela if I didn't know them I would say they where acting strange but it was usual for Angela and Lucy to act like this if there was a big party happening and this well it was. 

"Thanks lu, just need to see if my parents are on this as I just saw them." I told her and then I saw the name of the company and oh f**k I was I deep s**t. It was the company both my parents where working at and I wasn't seeing things and they where actually here oh god am so dead.
