Chapter 20

Serena walked slowly towards Xavier's room. She just finished explaining everything that happened to her parents and the Sisters of the Night. Her welcome party was in two days and felt nervous and excited at the same time. She would meet new people and she wouldn't know who to trust. She needed to talk to Xavier. His door was locked when she tried to open it. Strange, she thought. Xavier never locked his door. Ever. She took a deep breath and tried to use her magic. She had been practicing and was getting really good at it. She muttered a spell and the door sprang open. But the sight that met her eyes shocked her so much that she almost screamed. Xavier was naked in the bed with a young girl straddling him. She was naked too. She had her head thrown back, her long dark hair flowing down her back. Her eyes were closed and she was moaning softly as she rode his c**k. Xavier's hand reached out and grabbed her t**s as she began to move faster, bouncing in his hard shaft and rocking her hips wildly over him. His breathing sounded harsh as he raised his hips, thrusting into her as she rode him. He released her breasts and grabbed her fat ass, thrusting deeper into her. He groaned in pure ecstasy as he neared his climax. He spanked her ass and groaned loudly as he emptied himself into her. The girl on top of him cried out as her body shook with her orgasm. She collapsed on Xavier's sweaty body, breathing heavily, both of them unaware of Serena's presence. Suddenly Xavier jerked to the side and saw Serena standing there, her face pale and filled with horror. "What the f**k!" He yelled, trying to cover up. The girl noticed Serena and her eyes widened. She scrambled off Xavier and covered her body with the bed sheets, keeping her eyes averted. "Serena... what the hell..." Xavier yelled again as he rushed to put on his pants. How long had she been standing there? He never wanted her to find out that way. He actually thought she would spend a longer time with the Sisters of the Night. Serena took a deep breath to calm herself. This was her first time witnessing such erotic scene and it did things to her body, things she didn't understand. "Xavier." Her voice sounded strange even in her own ears. "Can we talk in my room?" She didn't wait for an answer before rushing out of the room in haste. ... "Her powers are getting stronger but she can't control them yet." Logan began after Serena left the office. "When do you intend to start her training?" The leader of the Sisters asked. "You must prepare her for the war that is to come. She's the realm's only hope." "I know that." Logan nodded. "I plan to train her and Xavier after her welcome party." The leader of the Sisters turned to the other women and spoke in low whispers with them. After a moment, they all nodded. "Very well." The leader murmured, then rose to her feet. "Now show us the room you prepared for us. We've had a long travel and we need to rest." "Of course." Logan nodded, then sent for one of the witch guards. "Julian, take the Sisters to the north wing and make sure they're provided with everything they need." "Yes, Lord Logan." Julian bowed and led the way, the Sisters following behind. ... "Why didn't you tell me Cassie was your lover?" Serena asked after Xavier explained how he and Cassie fell in love. "We promised not to keep any secrets. I even told you about Jayden." Her heart skipped a beat when she remembered her first love, but she pushed the memory away. "I'm sorry." Xavier murmured. "I just thought you wouldn't understand. She's just a maid, and if Dad discovers it, he'll be furious. But I love Cassie, with everything in me." Serena sighed. She couldn't stay angry, not when she heard the sincerity in his voice. "You really love her that much?" She asked. "I do." Xavier replied without hesitation. "She completes me." She let out another sigh. "Then I guess I can't be upset." She murmured. "As long as she doesn't come between us." Xavier sighed in relief and embraced her. "No one can come between us." He assured her. "But I can't let Dad know yet. I'll tell him when the right time comes." "Sure. I won't tell him." She nodded. "How long have you two been together?" "Two years." "Two years?" She exclaimed. "And Dad doesn't know yet?" "We've been really careful." Xavier chuckled. "She came here with her mother five years ago. Apparently, their home was attacked by dark witches. Mom took pity on them and gave them a place to stay, while Dad employed them as maids." "How did you both start talking?" Serena asked eagerly. "At first, I ignored her because I couldn't be seen talking with the maids." Xavier explained. "But we eventually started talking in secret. Most times, we would meet at night at the garden. Gradually, things changed." "Does her Mom know about you two?" "She doesn't. I know I will have to tell them someday, but we have to keep it a secret until then." Serena finally understood why he had been so secretive of Cassie. Truly, their parents wouldn't understand. She remembered something else and frowned at him. "Why were you so prickly towards Kendrick? She asked. " You didn't want me to be with him. Yet you have someone you love." "I didn't like him at first." Xavier muttered. "I thought he would take you away. Shifters are very possessive when it comes to their mate. I wasn't ready to let you go." "That's exactly how I feel with Cassie." Serena murmured. "I feel she would come between us. But you don't see me being rude towards her. I don't tell you to stay away from her, like you did with Kendrick." "I understand what you mean." Xavier said softly. "It was wrong of me, the way I acted towards the Alpha. But no one can ever take your place in my heart. Not even Cassie, as much as I love her." "Same thing applies to Kendrick." Serena replied with a smile. "I need you to be nice and respectful to him." It would be hard being nice to Kendrick, Xavier thought. But he would do it for her. He nodded and kissed her forehead. "Alright, I will. Anything for you." Serena's smile widened and she hugged him. "Much better." She murmured. "Now let me talk to Cassie. I don't want her to feel she did something wrong." Xavier waited outside while she entered the room and shut the door. Cassie had already put on her clothes, and she watched Serena warily, her eyes filled with fear. "Miss Serena, I just want to apologize..." "Please Cassie, you don't have to apologize." Serena stopped her with a smile. "I was merely in shock. Xavier told me everything." "We didn't mean to keep it a secret from you." Cassie murmured. "I understand you didn't." Serena nodded. "You don't need to be scared, and your secret is safe with me." Cassie smiled in relief and bowed. "Thank you." "But I care about Xavier a lot, and I love him." Serena continued. "If you ever do anything to hurt him, you will answer to me. Are we clear on that?" "Very clear, miss Serena." Cassie nodded. "I love Xavier and I would never do anything to hurt him." Serena smiled and walked close to her. "I think we're going be great friends, Cassie." She said.
