Chapter 6

Carolina: I recalled Lucy's warning that I shouldn't reveal my name to anyone at this hotel, so I replied, "My name is Joy." "Joy who?" Bright asked, taking a step closer to meet me, and I perceived his masculine breath and sensed that he was drunk, so I stepped backward. "My name is Joy Joy. Why do you want to know my full name?" I asked him, wondering if he was truly the CEO of the Blues Hotel, or maybe Mr. Karen knew him before. Bright smiled and replied, "Nothing. I just want to know what your name is. Are you going home? Come, let me give you a ride," he offered, but I shook my head. "No need, sir. I do not follow strangers," I replied, and he smiled handsomely, as my cheek turned red. "I know. I do not entertain strangers too. But since you are already leaving my hotel, that's why I am offering you help. It's fine if you do not trust me. Take care," Bright said, as he accepted his black coat from my hand and turned to leave my sight. "Wait..." I chased after him, thinking he wasn't bad after all. He had helped me stand up against Mr. Karen, who had treated me poorly. "What's it? Do you suddenly change your mind?" Bright asked in an alluring voice, as he turned to look at my face. My face turned red in embarrassment as his intense brown eyes locked on mine. "Umm, maybe. But I do not have a home. I am going to my friend's house," I said, as I approached him. Bright began to walk out towards the parking area of the club. "How about your parents?" Bright queried in his magnetic voice, as he walked towards the parking. I saw two masculine men following behind us, and I swiftly turned to look around at them, screaming, "Why are you following us?" The two security men paused, but they didn't walk away. "Oh, they are my men," Bright said, and my cheek flushed in embarrassment again. "Your men? Oh! I am sorry, I didn't know about that," I mumbled, guessing he was a big shot. "It's fine. Get into my car," Bright said, as he remotely unlocked the black Lamborghini parked there. I was stunned that he was truly the owner, and he was offering me a ride in this black Lamborghini. I hadn't sat in a Lambo before. "Sir, you don't have to take me home. I will trek," I said, afraid of him. As I knew that I had lost my job. But how could I sit in a Lamborghini? I did not want to get into any trouble that night. "Do you still feel afraid of me? It's late, and with you looking this beautiful, I cannot say what will happen to you when you cross the gate. Do you want another man to chase after you?" Bright asked, his eyes watching me intently, and I flushed scarlet again. "You're right," I agreed, internally scolding myself as I bit my bottom lip, feeling his eyes on my chest. "Alright, you can drop me off," I accepted Bright's offer, as I looked at his face, seeing him smile handsomely. "Alright. Get in," he pulled the car door, and I hopped into the front passenger's seat, wondering why he didn't have a driver at that time of the night. Bright shut the car door, walked over the car, and got into the driver's seat. He looked at me as he fastened his seatbelt. "You look beautiful, miss, or do you mind spending the night with me?" He asked, looking at my face, and my eyes widened in surprise. Are all men like this? Always looking for a woman to spend the night with? "Listen, I do not mean to scare you. But I am just a little bit down and needing a distraction. I will pay you off. And you do not have to worry about me chasing after you, or you coming to look for me. It's a one-night thing," he said, his eyes pinned on my face with desire. I looked at his handsome face and asked, "Why me? You barely know me?" "Just a night. Name your price?" Bright said, taking out a cigarette to smoke in his car, and I looked at him in shock. "Hey, Mr. No smoking in a car," I reminded him, and he laughed. "Fine." He extinguished the lighter and kept it. "What do you say?" He asked me once more. "How much do you want to pay me? I am not a prostitute, but since you are asking me out politely, I will consider your offer," I said, and he shrugged. "1 million." He offered, and I frowned. Is this a repercussion of me rejecting the other man's offer? "2 million, 3 million, 4 million, name your worth," Bright offered, his voice serious, and my jaw dropped. "What? 4 million just to have s*x with me?" I asked him in shock, and his eyes narrowed at me. "Yeah. What's wrong? Isn't that what you all women want? Money and no love? Or should I say, you want a child too?" He asked me painfully, and I looked at his sad face in shock. "A child? No... I am still jobless, so why should I want a child at this moment? Fine. I accept your offer," I mumbled, and he nodded. "That's fine. I will take you to my house. So that we can keep it low. If anyone sees me and you together at a hotel, they will report me to the media, and I do not want that," he said before starting his car. I sat in the passenger seat silently and watched the road as he drove down to his house. I was surprised as he arrived at an impressive, powerful mansion, and the security man unlocked the gate and welcomed him. Driving the black Lamborghini into the beautiful yard, he parked and reminded me, "Only for tonight." "Alright," I lowered my head and followed him out of the car and into the house. A butler walked up to welcome us. "Welcome, boss." "Thanks. You're dismissed for tonight," Bright told the middle-aged man, before he looked at me and held my hand. Then he led me to the room on the first floor. "Is this your room?" I asked him, as we entered the room. I saw him taking off his shirt. "No. Why do you need my room?" He asked, taking some steps to meet me. My back got pinned on the wall, and I smiled and replied, "Nothing." "Mm," he stood in front of me, and before I could say anything to him, he raised my chin and kissed me passionately. Before I could get a chance to process what was going on, he carried me as if I didn't weigh anything. Placing me carefully on the bed, he towered above me and reached to undress me. "Sir, you didn't bring any condom along?" I asked him, shyly. "Why? I am impotent, and you do not have to feel scared," he said, kissing my lips again. "But," I wanted to refuse him, and he said, "I am not having any infection. And if there's anyone who should be more concerned about health matters, it should be me, because I do not know you before of what you do." "I am a virgin," I told him, and he stiffened and got off me, despite his intoxicating state. His lips tasted so sweet that I could feel the alcohol fragrance on mine. It made me aroused, and I looked at him with intense longing. "You're a virgin. It's all a misunderstanding then. I thought you do hook-up," he said, wanting to climb down the bed, but I stopped him. "Please, sir. I need the money," I begged, but he refused. "No. I will ask my driver to take you back," he attempted to walk away, but I rushed to hug his waist. "Please, I can do anything you want me to do," I hugged him firmly, and instinctively reached to touch his belt. He stiffened and grabbed my hand away. "What are you doing?" He asked me, turning to look at my face, but I wouldn't give up.
