Everyone in sight rushed towards Blake. He slipped on a polythene piece, landing on a sharp stone which gave him a deep cut. "Hello, a student just had an accident on the field next to the gate!" one of the nearby aiding students screamed after dialling a four-eight-eight on his mobile phone. As Sir. Cade's bodyguards were about to carefully bundle Blake into the car, the ambulance drove into the area. "Dad! I'll be fine, the clinic is a certified one. I would have lost pints of blood if you decide to drive me out of this area, let's go to the school's clinic." Sir. Cade sighed, raised his head and motioned his men to spring into action. Blake father's men hurriedly carried him into the ambulance which zoomed off immediately. "wowwww woooow woooow." "I can't follow this deafening van! wait till it's out of sight!" Sir. Cade clamoured immediately his driver bumped into the car to drive after the siren-blaring rescue van. The driver dared not ask his lord if they could proceed few minutes after the sound died down. He tactically entered the vehicle, ignited before turning it off again. "You fool! why turning it off?" Sir. Cade expressed his disproval while stepping into the Black Benz vehicle. They drove silently till they alighted at the clinic. The body guards surrounded in and out of the clinic giving people diverse reasons for the display. The students' press unit got contacted during the first hour. Simultaneous Podcasts were released on how and why private suited bodyguards would decorate the school clinic. "Tia!!!" "lilyyyyyy!" "Get up now, you guys!! Annet screamed to wake her napping roommates. "what is it?" squinting her eyes and stretching her body, Tia asked in a soft, hollow voice before falling back to sleep. "Babes! we're in a hot mess! we're about to be grounded." Annet analysed and got response from none. "My girl, make us proud by becoming one the best historians in the world." "Yes, papa." Annet sobs as she remembered her father's departing words a week earlier. She wondered if her yet to begin career would fold up just like that." "What is it?" Annet's unstopping sniffs deported Tia from her dream world. She rose like a zombie to detect the cause of her disturbance. "Can't you talk? f**k! I'm mismatched with the wrong set of people. Gosh!" grabbing her blanket, she covered herself up right after her banter. "Maria is an Asian reputable general's daughter!" Annet blurted few seconds after a dead silence which seemed like forever. "What?!" Tia jumped off her bed in a twinkle of an eye. She dropped limb back on her bed before getting herself together. "How did you this piece of information?" She asked after getting her bearing. Tia stormed off her bed in rage to Lilian's corner, giving her multiple butts spanks right before she returned to her end. "Ouchh!!! What was that for?" Lilian squealed, holding dearly to her fired butts. "Continue!" ignoring Lilian and putting up a straight face like nothing just happened, she screamed at Annet. "Don't scream at me like that, I'm not your next victim! you made us hate that innocent girl out of your bossy nature. I could have just slapped you while waking you as well. Apologize to Lilian for what you just did or I won't continue. It's high time we started respecting ourselves!." Standing up at Tia, she verbally retaliated in defense. "Oh, really?! f**k you, f**k your information". Tia climbed her bed, sputtered and covered herself up. "Need I remind you, my father is influential and powerful in the country. If anyone is getting kicked out of this college this early, it's gonna be you girls.''sticking her fist out of her sheets to demonstrate a pointed peace sign with her middle and index fingers, Tia bluffed almost immediately . Lilian made eye contacts with Annet to let Tia win. "Alright. I'm sorry, come out." Annet made a false apology to pacify her. "We're sorry." Lilian muttered as well. "Spill it!" Tia imposed her bratty nature once again leaving Annet no choice but to surrender at her helper's feet. "I was randomly surfing the internet before the College's press department released a podcast on happenings at the school clinic presently. Suited, fierce looking body guards swam within and outside the clinic." "Go on..." Tia uttered as she unsheeted herself. "But then, how is it related to us?" Lilian scratched her head as she questioned Annet's puzzling statement. "Shut up, you...!" she paused before she uttered something more grievous. "Calm down, girls." Annet pacified before turning towards Lilian's direction. "Relating to stinking Maria." Annet explained before grabbing her phone to check for more updates. Lilian's jaw dropped immediately and cringed at the thoughts of being rusticated as a first week freshman. "What if it wasn't for her but someone else?" Tia brought up while Annet and Lillian continually surfed through Annet's phone for more information. "Hmm... Other students were there yesterday, why not yesterday?" Annet supplied a questioning answer to Tia's question. "And why were we still summoned today? After all, we were the first people to inform the authorities about an asthmatic attack In our block." Lillian muttered. "Wait, Lilian!." Annet uttered after Lilian's contribution. "yes?" "You just talked about something asthma or did I not hear clearly? who gave statements concerning asthma?" "I did!" Tia snapped in immediately. "Why?" Annet hit her hand on her head severally waiting for an answer. "'We're all Arts students right, that doesn't mean our brains shouldn't be functional." "Who are ..." "Hang it please, no more words till I'm done." Holding up her right clenched fist, Annet bashed at Tia for interrupting her. "Doctors and nurses who take care of health needs work at the clinic, not bankers or chefs. How on earth will they not figure out that it was something else other than an asthmatic attack? Ponder that!" She concluded. "Hmmmph.... then, won't her parents or guardian protest against the report, demanding for clarity and due justice?" Lilian contributed to the heaps of question on ground. "You know what?" Tia asked, ensuring the girls were focused on her. "Let's just go by what Lilian told the director, any question generated on Asthma- That was what we thought could be the matter, Okay?" The girls helplessly nodded in agreement to Tia's delivery. *** "...your leg is fully dressed now, be watchful next time." A black, hour glass shaped nurse announced to Blake whose savings of patience was exhausted after one hour of stopping his bleeding and dressing his wound. "Can I leave now?" Blake asked, turning deaf ears to her piece of advice and every other admonition offered by any other hospital personnel. "Not so soon... you still need to be given some anti-tetanus injections between now and tomo..." Blake stood and leaped towards the door. "Doctor, nurses please come into ward 8, the patient here does not want to cooperate." The nurse hollered immediately Blake stood on his own, aiming to walk out of the ward, ignoring her counsel. "Her shout got Sir. Cade and his men's attention. They trooped into the ward, disregarding the clinic's rules, running into Blake at the entrance. "Hold him down, don't let him go!" Sir. Cade instructed immediately he slipped out of the room. Blake desperately craved fresher air other than the clinic's medication stench. . He outsmarted his father's men and ran into another ward leaping on one leg as fast as he could. " I'm sorry!" he hurriedly muttered as soon as he discovered he ran into a female's ward. "Blake..." a faint feminine voice called right before he left the room. "Ugh?"
