Prologue
I parted the curtain in half and pushed it to both sides as I let the sunlight enter through the window. I smiled at the view outside. It's my garden full of flowers and different plants. I love them because for me they're my children. Even before, I always wonder how does it feel to have a child, how does it feel to have my own family.
I sighed and brushed my thoughts off of my head. I fixed my bed first before going downstairs. I was preparing my breakfast when I noticed someone enter my house. I immediately went out of the kitchen to see who's that. I saw an old woman putting down her things on the sofa inside the living room. Then she walked out again. I didn't bother to follow her since I knew who she is. She's the care taker of my house. She took care everything here including my garden. I go back inside the kitchen and finished preparing my breakfast. I didn't bother to make breakfast for my caretaker since she's not eating here.
After eating, I start wandering around the house. This is not my usual routine everyday but it's been a while since I last did it so I want to do it today. This house is quite big so I can wander around here without getting bored. And I have nothing to do either.
I've been walking around the hours for a while now when I noticed a stair. It's a stair for the basement. I go down and open the door. I smiled as soon as I switched the light on inside the room. Thousands of memories came rushing to my mind. This is my favorite room in this house. And this room is also full of paintings.
I walked near the big portrait covered with red cloth. I unveil it and saw that this is a portrait of mine. I still remember the day when it was made....
I brushed the thought off of my head because I'm now getting teary. I carried the portrait and bring it upstairs, in the living room. I want to hang it on the wall.
I had a hard time bringing it up and hanging it all by myself because it's quite heavy. I smiled seeing it hanged beautifully, just the way I like it.
I walked away from the living room and enter my room upstairs to take a bath since I sweat a lot earlier.
"Oh god! How is this painting hanged here?!" my caretaker exclaimed.
I smiled then close my room's door.
