Hanna Pov Waking up to the commotion going on down stairs, I knew I had slept in. Which meant that by the time I get dressed and get ready for school I would have missed out on breakfast. Being one of six kids you have to be swift around here or you miss out and have to get something quick on the way. Being the oldest of them all, I'm the one who usually helps get everyone else ready and fed. My father, Roger is a very strict catholic man. My mother Vicky passed away when she gave birth to my younger brother Jacob. For 4 years dad raised myself, Charlotte and Jacob until he became absolutely smitten with a lady who he met at our local church social group. Her name was Isabella. They both fell madly in love with each other and not long after, dad got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She screamed with excitement and said yes! It was a beautiful wedding and Isabella looked gorgeous. It was really nice to have a mother figure around again. I mean no one could replace my mother, but I knew dad would struggle bringing up 2 daughters. I don't think I could imagine him answering all them girly questions that Charlotte and I would be asking when we got older. Not even 6 months after the wedding dad told us Isabella was pregnant. We were all so excited especially Jacob! "It better be a boy" he screamed. Having two older sisters, he longed to have a brother. We welcomed Ethan into the world, then 3 years later Mia came along. The finishing touch to our family was Scarlett. As I finished packing my school bag I could hear dad coming up the stairs. "Are you ready, darling" he said " Yes dad, I'm coming" I sighed. I got downstairs to find all the kids ready for school and they even managed to save me a piece of toast. I quickly scoffed down my toast and started to head out the door to get the younger ones on the bus. As I waited for them to pile on the bus I heard a car pull up behind the bus. Wade was here to pick me up. Even though dad was so strict, the only boy he trusted, other than himself and my brothers was Wade. Wade was my guy best friend and I trusted him with my life. He picked me up every morning for school. As I jumped into the car I heard dad yell out "drive safe Wade, and make sure you bring my daughter home safe". " I will" chuckled Wade.
