As I was in a deep sleep, I heard a voice calling for help. I recognized that it was Bethany's. I felt myself walking in the direction of the voice came. In a blink of an eye, I tripped myself. But I didn't fall and felt a hand was grabbing me. I opened my eyes, and my eyes widened in shock. I was hanging downwards off the wall. I couldn't believe my eyes as well. The man who was grabbing me shouted something, and many soldiers came there. The man pulled me up with the help of the soldiers. That was the moment I listened to my heartbeat again. I sat there quietly for a moment. I recalled the incident and realized Bethany's calling. Soon, Lexi and Godwin came there. "What happened to Sam? Why is he sitting like that?" Lexi asked the man. "Sam? Nice to meet you, Chief." He said and bowed. "Nothing would happen. I will save him before something could happen. You both don't have to worry about things like this," he said and left the place. Godwin told Lexi to go to her room. "I want to get some fresh air,'' I said and went out from there. Godwin followed me behind. "What happened, Sam? Are you alright?" I looked up at him. "I heard Bethany's voice in sleep. She called me for help. I went in the direction the voice came. I think I walked in my sleep," I said. I sat down on the bench, and Godwin sat beside me. "Did you say you heard Bethany's voice? Aren't you thinking about her so much? She will be alright, Sam. You also know that." I sat straight and looked up at the sky. "Remember the days we count the stars? Bethany will be the first to finish the counting,'' I said, still looking at the stars. "Sam, it's not like we don't believe her. Bethany is a brave girl. We don't trust her in goods issues. Other than that, she is a good friend to me, and she will always be your little sister," Godwin said. That moment I saw something strange in the sky. The dark sky changed into blue, and lightning came from there. A loud sound of the thunder roared in the garden. "What did you say? You heard my voice calling for help?" Bethany came out from the thunder. "How did you come here? What are you doing here?" Godwin asked. Bethany looked like a different person. She was wearing a red cloak that had a half-moon embroidery. Her eyes were in green color, and her hair was longer than before. "Bethany, are you alright? You look different from before," I said. She looked at me and said, "is that important now? Why did you come here without even telling me? Am I look that easy to you all? You guys still don't know the seriousness of this problem. I know you guys won't trust me either, my words. Today, Sam has heard my voice. Tomorrow it can be anything. Be careful, and don't ever fall for the Master's trick. Keep this with you, Sam. I know you have the glass. The glass won't work without this. Even I don't know how does this thing work. The thing you have has many powers. It is my Master's one. Make sure you use it well. Also, Sam, remember! You took this glass from the cave. It means you have the power to control this. No one can touch it or even see it. I just had the possibility of seeing it. But I couldn't go near it, not even once. In the morning, that man will guide you all to the woods. There you will meet the man Godwin has met before." I saw something came out from her right arm. "Bethany? Is that blood?" I asked her. "It's time for me to go now," she said and disappeared from there. "Let's move from here. If someone saw us, it will be a big problem," Godwin said. We left the garden and went to our rooms.
BETHANY POV
After Sam went home, I came back to the cave. "Where are you going, Beth- not, Diana ?" A man in black asked me. Master is back. I had a bad feeling about his come back. "Why did you come here? It's not full-moon yet. I asked him. "Do you think I will fell for your caring face? Just like the rest did? Did you forget who you are, who you were, how did you come to this place, or even why you came here?" He kept on asking questions to me as I walked backward of the room. I stopped as my back hit the wall. "You have promised me to kill Sam and Godwin. You promised me helping me to get my Princess back. What are you even doing in this place!" He yelled through the place. "Stop making noises! Don't you know people come to this place? We promised to get the things done for you. But what did you do to her? You humiliated her every time! You have never appreciated her for the efforts she had made! Do you think it is just you who want to get revenge on them!" He came in and said. I know what is coming ahead of him. "YOU," Master moved in the other man's direction. I stepped in between them. Master hand got a grip of my neck. Without realizing himself, Master tightened his grip on my neck. The other man stopped him by pushing him behind. He let go of me, and I fell on the floor. "I'm giving you both a final warning. This time, we have to succeed on this. If we fail, we will disappear from this world," he said and left the place. "Are you okay," he came and asked. "Stop worrying about me. You go and follow Godwin and his friends. Update me if anything happens," I said and left the cave. The next day morning, I went to the bar. The place was in chaos. I didn't know what was going on. "We have to go now!" a voice said, and a hand grabbed my hand. "What are you saying? What are you doing?" I asked him. "Just come with me!" He screamed on top of his lung. I stood there froze as I noticed something odd. His eyes turned red, and his shoulder grew wider.
