Chapter 4 It had been several weeks since gaining access to her mother’s lab at Eden’s. There was so much information on all of GenLife’s clone projects. The server that was set up had been Astrid’s main work computer. Everything that had been in the off site office was there as well. They hadn’t needed to go to the warehouse that day. She still felt a slight twinge knowing Jacob was in the hands of GenLife. Her only concession was that David would have taught him well enough to survive. Whether or not her pair had listened was another thing. If the two of them hadn’t gone that day, she wouldn’t be at Eden’s now either.
