Breakers Episode V
Chapter 5 What would Cora do? This was the running mantra that went through his mind with every ‘task’ the trainers at the GenLife compound threw at him. The answer was always the same. Under perform. If he was at that level, or higher, then the other clones, there would be questions. If it was mostly strength or athleticism, he could get by with ‘a product of hard work’. Tactical though, no one would believe he was a natural at it. Maybe if it was in his genetic code, but he already knew it wasn't. It rankled to be less than he had been taught to be by David. He needed to be smart about it though. Cora wouldn’t have shown all her cards at the beginning. She would have downplayed what she could do. Better to be underestimated than reveal everything to the enemy. And they were the enemy.
