Sean hadn't slept much. He'd been frustrated about the case, or rather his lack of understanding of the case. But that wasn't the true reason for his restlessness.
His second short encounter with Erin had left him more confused than ever.
And every time he’d closed his eyes, attempting to sleep, he'd seen her. As infuriating as his sudden obsession with the woman was, he'd been tempted to just give in and let his mind wander wherever it may.
He'd fantasized about her. And it seemed completely crazy now, in the cold, stark light of day, but he'd imagined a life with her by his side. And he had no idea where all these insane ideas had come from.
