Chapter SevenAs hard as Erin had tried to stay awake, she was fast asleep by the time Faith got home.
And come morning, of course Faith wasn't up yet by the time Erin had to leave for work, leaving them no time to catch up.
It hadn't been a restful sleep, though. Erin had tossed and turned, tormented by nightmares, none of which she could remember after waking up.
Obviously, all of the events of the previous day were catching up with her.
She hated not knowing what those new guys from work had said to Faith exactly. And what about Professor Blake meeting with none other than Victor Domnall?
The man was dangerous. His entire agenda seemed to be to stir up hate and violence against one specific minority living among them: shifters.
