Chapter ThreeJill stood by with her hands folded while Major Williams briefed the squad.
Of course, she paid close attention to the major's words, but that wasn't all she did. She also observed all the team members one by one.

McMillan should have been the most awkward of the lot; he was new after all. But the tall former police detective seemed completely at ease.
