Loving him

It was Monday morning and Anna was sleeping peacefully in her home. A home she used to share with her mother before she passed away. She was not a very hard sleeper but because the day before she had worked really hard doing laundry for Mrs Watson and her family of 6 who lived just few houses from her home, She was out cold. Mrs Watson was a very nice woman who help Anna with odd jobs around her home and pay her for her services because she knew the girl's situation that she had nobody after the passing of her mother. The money she would get from Mrs Watson, Anna used it to buy food to eat and other essentials. while Anna was sleeping peacefully, She was startled but a loud banging on the door. she jacked up and sat up on her bed trying to adjust her eyes , She could see that it was morning through her bedroom window. She sigh and got up from the bed to go see who it was who was at the door. She opened the door to find Mrs Watson ." Child I been knocking at your door and calling your name for sometime but you were not answering I almost left ,I thought maybe you were not at home." Mrs Watson said. Anna apologized to the older woman for not hearing the knock sooner. Mrs Watson than proceeded to tell Anna why she was there so early in the morning. She told her that she had found a job for her in one of the factory in town where she would work as a packer and she was supposed to take her there early before lunch time .She told Anna to bathe and wear decent clothes so they can go. Anna got so happy and nervous about the whole thing, She only took a couple of minutes to bathe and dress up before she was ready to go with the older woman. "All done " She said when she come out of her room. Mrs Watson than show her to the car and they drove to the company. It tooked them one hour to get there .The security guard greeted them at the gate and showed them where to park the car and where the reception was. Mrs Watson parked the car as per instructed. They both got out of the car and proceeded to the reception area, meeting a woman there who they assume was a receptionist.She was sitting down in a chair with a big table in front of her. The receptionist asked them how she can help. Mrs Watson explain who she was to the woman and than asked her if she could see Caroline Neville. Caroline Neville was a manager in the factory and the person Mrs Watson had talked to about the job for Anna. She was a family friend to Mrs Watson. The receptionist called Caroline and told her that there are people waiting for her at the reception area. Caroline tooked few minutes before she arrived at the reception, she immediately recognized Mrs Watson and greeted her with a smile."You must be Anna" Caroline said when she saw a girl that was with Mrs Watson while extending her hand to greet her. Anna said yes nervously. Caroline chuckle at seeing how nervous Anna was, she told her to relax and not to worry she'll be okay. After a little talk between Mrs Watson and Caroline. Mrs Watson left, leaving Anna with Caroline so she can show her around the factory and where she was going to work. Anna was introduced to her other soon to be colleagues by Caroline and given her uniform so she can start working. Few weeks went by on her new job and by now she knew most of her colleagues. she was enjoying her new job very much mainly because she was the youngest there and all were treating her good like their little sister. They were all very welcoming. It was Wednesday and Anna was so nervous because by then she knew that Wednesdays were very important in the factory. They were the day of the walk about, where all the big bosses of the company and managers walk around the factory inspecting it and seeing if it being kept in a good condition by the employee. Anna was nervous because she knew if the bosses find something wrong in the area you work on ,you would be in trouble. She was cleaning her place non stop.The bosses walked around until they reached her area, They inspect and find nothing wrong and went away. when they left Anna released the breath she didn't know she was holding. She real didn't want to get in trouble that why she always follow the rules of the company. She appreciated the job very much. One day Anna was busy packing one of the rushed jobs working real fast because the job had to go that day. Her manager Caroline was there besides her trying to see how far they have gone with the order helping out there and there. while they were busy working, one of the big bosses came to talk to Caroline. The big boss and Caroline were standing talking about the job but Anna could feel eyes on her, Everytime she would look up the boss would have his eyes on her. She got really nervous because she thought the boss was monitoring her. She got very clumsy and drop one of the product on the floor, The boss got down and picked it up for her. She had said thank you and carried on packing until she finished. The boss and Caroline left after she was done but not before the boss looked at her one last time.The look he was giving her made her very scared because she had never had someone look at her like that ,like they were looking inside her soul. Anna went home that day confused cause when she closes her eyes she could see him. Those brown eyes that keep appearing in her mind. The following day she try to forget about what happened yesterday and focused on her work. It was late in the afternoon when she was packing and closing her last box before she could go home, She felt a present and look up only to see the big boss again looking at her. She looked at him and their eyes locked, It seems like no one wanted to look away, For a minute they remained like that until Anna decides to look down and continue closing the box. No one said anything until he went away. That was the second time that happened to her. These incidents will happen a lot over the couple of days that followed, where the boss which late on Anna found out his name was Mr Nelson Kimble who was the head of production in the company will come around stare at her and go. In some of the days where Mr Nelson will come around Anna will try and not look up to meet his eyes. When she does that she felt like he would come around where she was all day until she looked up at him. It was like he liked it when she looks at him. Overtime Anna started feeling a ping of hurt in her heart if Mr Nelson never showed up to see her the whole day at work. She didn't know when she started enjoying their stares and missing them. "It looks like he is not coming today too". She thought looking at the watch and seeing it was time to go home. She sigh and clean up just before she was done the man came and just stood there and look at her she also stood there and looked at him. She was so happy her heart was beating so hard in her chest she was worried he could here it. Again no one said anything they just stood there, It was like their eyes were speaking for them. After a few minutes Mr Nelson turned to walk away just before he left he heard a small voice saying "hi" he turn and see Anna looking down and mumbling to herself and he said "afternoon". Anna looked up shocked that he heard her. she kept on looking at him not knowing what to say after, He too looked like he didn't know what to say next until he turn and walk away. She sigh and continued cleaning up and went home. Nelson Kimble was a 33 year old man who was married to Megan Green they had two kids together. They had been married for 8 years and to his understanding he was happy in his marriage.Even though they fought sometimes it was okay, All couple fight sometimes he had said.Ever since he saw Anna he couldn't understand why he couldn't stop thinking and feeling the need to see her and look at her. He felt guilty for feeling the things he was feeling because he was a married man. Sometimes he wished he never went to see Caroline that day cause he wouldn't have seen her so close and wanting to see her everyday. He had try to restraint himself by staying in his office couple of times and not go down in the factory and see her but it had been really hard one time he couldn't take it anymore and went to see her. He knew his behavior was no right because first he was married and he shouldn't feel all that he was feeling. Secondly he knew that he can't let anything happened between them because she was young, innocent and an employee working under him. Thirdly his whole behavior was confusing her but he couldn't stay away. He tried figuring out what was it about her that is making him behave the way he does with no luck and it was killing him silently.That day when she had said hi to him he had liked her voice very much. He kept on hearing it on his head all the time. It was Monday morning the factory was booming with the noises of the machines and chatter of the employees. Anna was in her usual place working absent minded until one of her colleagues asked if she was okay she had said she was but deep down she wasn't. Anna was miserable because when she had went online during the weekend, At first she just wanted to look for a photo of Nelson Kimble to look at but she had found a f*******: photo of Nelson Kimble with his family. Her heart broke when she saw that he was married and she started feeling guilty for how she was feeling about him. She felt like there was a hole in her heart. While she was busy trying to work with her sore heart she felt Mr Nelson besides her and chose not to acknowledge him and ignored him. He stayed for few minutes and went away but he came around the second time. Again Anna never looked up. He came again the third time before it was time for her to leave, She refused to look up until he left. They both left work miserable. Anna didn't know who she can talk to about what was going on, so she went home and just cried in her bed she felt overwhelmed with so much feelings. Even though she knew she was doing the right thing it still hurt. Nelson on the other hand was angry and agitated. He knew something was wrong with Anna. He knew she was sad and he knew she was ignoring him on purpose. It always infuriated him when she doesn't look at him. "Doesn't she know that one look from her I feel very happy and it keeps me grounded and not do something stupid, why can't she understand that "he said ubsent minded while driving to his home. Nelson would go to Anna for a couple weeks after but she kept on ignoring him until he stopped going to her. It was hard for him to stop but he did and he tried focusing on his job and family. The day of the walk about come again. Every employee was busy cleaning up in the morning making the factory look neat and presentable. Anna cleaned her place too nervous as always her heart was in turmoil she knew Mr Nelson was gonna be among the bosses doing the inspection. She hadn't seen him for sometime because he had stopped coming around. She knew that was for the best but it was hard. The bosses came around the factory and inspect every department until they reached Anna's. They looked for a few minutes while she stand on the side looking down ,As soon as they finished they left but Nelson stayed behind and looked at Anna. She refused to look up until he spoke and said don't leave your water bottle on the floor like that there's a place for them, "Didn't you know? " he asked. Anna shook her head than he said look at me when I'm talking Miss Joseph. She reluctantly looked up at him and her feelings for him flooded her heart. She wanted to look away but she couldn't his eyes were like magnet. The more she looked at him she noticed that he had eye bags and he hadn't shave his beard it had grown big. His eyes looked sad she observed.He turned and walked away after a few minutes. Anna stood there and watched him until he was out of sight. She sigh and took her water bottle to where it supposed to be. Over few months Anna was excelling in her job and the pay was not bad at all. She even manage to buy Mrs Watson a gift for her birthday which she attended and had fun with Mrs Watson's family. Saturday night came she was busy cooking dinner when her phone rang. she picked it up from the table and checked who it was only to find out it was an unknown number. She answered the call wondering who it was but the person on the other side didn't say anything. She looked at the screen to see if they had drop the call but they were still there. she said "hello"again and nothing. She got scared and was about to drop the call when the person on the other line spoke. He reluctantly said "hi..... how..... are.... you?". She said she was fine and asked who she was talking to. The person on the line kept quiet for a little bit before saying" Nelson Kimble". It went quite on both ends. Anna took a sit on the chair in the kitchen her heart pounding, She than said " Mr Nelson ? ". The man on the line said "yes". It went quite again. Nelson cleared his throat and asked "why won't you look at me anymore?".Anna kept quiet not knowing what to say a lot was running through her mind. He continued and said "I'm sorry I.... just.....are you okay?" he asked. " I'm okay,.......you?", " I don't know, ......just......don't ignore me when I come around you" he said with so much authority and dropped the call. Anna just sat there on the chair after the call confused and wondering what just happened. Mr Nelson Kimble the man she is trying to forget just called and demanded not to be ignored. She didn't know how to handle the situation between them but she knew it was escalating. Monday morning came and it was time to go to work as nervous as she was to go , She woke up gotten ready and went. She got to work and changed into her uniform and started working. She'd thought Mr Nelson will show up but he never did. The following day too same thing he never showed up until the whole week was over. The following week he never showed up again. She didn't understand why it hurt her so much when he kept on not showing up anymore because that is what she wanted or was it .Truth be told she felt things for the man even though he was forbidden to her. Weeks goes by without Nelson coming again she try to forget and move on. It would take few weeks before he would show up again. It was midday when Nelson appeared in front of Anna again after so many weeks. He had came and stood before her and she looked up and saw him and they had their moment. During their moment Anna felt overwhelmed with so many emotion. She didn't know how much she had missed him until he was standing in front her. She knew he wasn't gonna say anything but she really wanted him to say something to her and stay a little longer, but as usual he never did say anything and left. Anna for the first time she felt a tear rolling down her cheek while the man walked away. She wiped her tear and continued working. She was truly overwhelmed and needed to talk to someone she can trust but who. It was Thursday late after work Anna was folding her laundry when her phone started ringing. She took the phone and looked who it was. It was unknown number calling her, she answered the call. As soon as she heard Nelson on the phone she frozen and didn't know what to say. The man on the phone asked how she was. she said she was okay as always when people asked her. The truth is she wasn't okay she wanted to tell Nelson that and just have a conversation with him where he can explain himself on what going on but she couldn't say. The line went quite for a while neither of them talking .That was until Nelson broke the silence and said "can you came and see me right now for a few minutes to talk, I know I confuse you but I will try and clear things up a little bit". Anna kept quiet for sometime before she agreed to see him. Nelson than told her where he would pick her up from. He said bye and see you now before disconnecting the call. Anna's heart was beating so hard like it wanted to burst but she had to came down, She told herself. She was hoping that maybe talking to him will help her to get the answers she needed.She got up, Freshened up a little bit and she was on her way to meet Nelson. For the first time they were gonna have a proper conversation and not just look at each other that though scared her a little bit. She took at taxi to town to where they were gonna meet. She arrived and waited a little bit before Nelson show up. He pulled up in front of her and told her to get in the car. She got inside the car he then drove. He drove until he came up to a secluded house, parked his car then both got out. Nelson started walking toward the house with Anna right behind him. Once inside Nelson asked Anna if she wanted anything to drink.She said she would like some water of which Nelson went to bring for her. She sat on the sofa in the sitting room of the house while waiting for Nelson to come back with the water. He came back, gave the water to her and sat on the sofa opposite where she was sitting. Upon finished drinking the water Anna put down the glass and looked up only to see the man looking at her. She got nervous and started fidgeting. She tried to look anywhere else besides looking at him but it wasn't working as always. She find herself looking at him too. They remained looking at each other until Nelson got up and went to her not breaking the eye contact. He went and stood infront of her towering over her. He extended his hand and lightly stroke her on one side of her face while maintaining eye contact. Anna leaned in to the touch closing her eyes savoring the moment. Nelson said "what are you doing to me Anna". She opened up her eyes and looked up at him not knowing what to say because she knew she had no power to stop what was happening between them even though it was totally wrong. She stood up and hugged the man in front of her so tight ,the man hugged her too.They both felt so content at that moment forgetting everything else.It was just them and their moment. They remained like that until Nelson pulled away but he never let go of her and just looked at her. He said "you beautiful Anna and I apologize for what I'm going to do now", He then leaned in and captured her lips kissing her passionately, sucking on her lower lip , going around to her upper lip , skillfully capturing her tongue and sucking on it, tasting every part of her mouth before pulling away. They were both panting after he pulling away, Anna was dazed and dizzy a little bit .Nelson hugged and whispered in her ear. "You are mine Anna " She hugged him tightly feeling tears in her eyes because she knew even though he is saying it but the truth was he can never be hers, he belonged to someone else. After some minute they separated from the hug but remained on each other's arms. Nelson sat on the arm of the sofa and caged Anna between his arms and legs he looked at her ,Something that he loved to do. Anna looked at him too wondering how she can asked the burning questions she wanted to asked. It didn't take long before Nelson asked her what was on her mind. she had kept quiet before she said "I know you married". There was silent between them before Nelson sighed and said "look Anna,I am a married man ,I do have a family and I tried staying away from you but I can't i want to be around you all the time Anna from the first time I laid eyes on you I knew i was in trouble it was like you have woken up these cans of feelings I didn't know were there", at first I was okay with just looking at you for a few minutes and walking away it used to help me but from time to time it wasn't especially when you would refused to look at me It drove me crazy". "Anna be mine baby" he said while wiping Anna's tears that were running down her face. That was the start of their secret relationship. Nelson will call Anna every night before she goes to bed and in the morning before work to talk. He would go to see her at her work station before Anna asked him to stop because she didn't want to risk people at work finding out.They will also meet privately on some weekends.
