Loving him

CHAPTER 17

Jonathan was sitted on the sofa at Anna's home while Anna was sleeping in her bed in the bedroom.

He was deep in his thoughts, still processing everything that had transpired earlier on.

He was feeling confused about the whole situation.

When he had picked up Anna on the ground in front of her home and carried her to the house after she collapsed she was very hysterical, crying and mumbling things like " I love him very much.... i need him .......I'm sorry "

Jonathan had put everything together and concluded she was talking about Mr Nelson Kimble the man he saw her with in the car.

Once he was in the house with her in his arms , he sat her down on the sofa and he rushed to the kitchen, he came back with a glass full of water. He made Anna drink all the water from the glass. When she was done he putted the glass on the table in the sitting room then sat next to Anna who was not showing any sign of calming down. She was still crying.

He decided to scoop her up , he sat her on his lap, he wrapped his arms around her small figure and he started rocking her up like a baby trying to coo her into calming down from her hysterical state. He was telling her that everthing is going to be alright, she eventually fell asleep in his arms. He then carried her to bed to have some proper sleep, when he was done laying her on the bed, he went to sit down on the sofa. He sat there for hours trying to understand everything that was happening.

When Anna's phone rang he ignored it a few times after looking at the caller ID but the phone kept ringing until he eventually decided to pick it up but the person on the other end was not speaking to him until he dropped the call. He became furious because he knew that it was Nelson who was calling , he saw on the call ID.

He couldn't understand what Nelson was doing with Anna because he was married.

He knew Mr Nelson mostly at work because he works in his father's company but he knew his wife the most because she's friends with his mother she visits their house all the time. He was really confused and saddened about the whole thing. The more he thought about it the more he was becoming mad for Anna and for Mrs Kimble about her husband doings.

Anna finally woke up after hours of sleeping. Her eyes were puffy and red from all the crying.Her throat felt sore. She got up from the bed, she switched on the light because it was dark in the room she figured it was night time. She looked for her phone which was no where to be found in her bedroom. She decided to go look for it in the sitting room. She made her way there , she switch on the light to light up the room, She then saw Jonathan sleeping on her small sofa uncomfortable.

The light on the room woke up Jonathan. His eyes found Anna's puffy ,red ones. " hey...... you up now ... " he spoke while getting up. " yeah " Anna shyly responded. Jonathan got up , he went to her and he gave her a warm long lovingly hug at which Anna accepted.

" How are you feeling " he spoke while still holding her. " I'm....... ok.....ay" she replied. " I'm glad you feel a little bit better ". They let go of each other Anna eyes were averting Jonathan's she was feeling a little bit shy because she was remembering all that had happened earlier on.

Jonathan moved away from her, he sat down on the sofa and watched her standing looking all shy. There were both quite for a while with no one talking until Anna whispered spoke " thank you for earlier " Jonathan heard her and he spoke " you are mostly welcome... now come and sit down, don't feel embarrassed we still cool.... okay" . She nodded and she went to sit in one of the sofas away from him.

" Anna I know why you were crying earlier on... and I know who made you cry........" Anna's eyes popped out she was shocked on how did he know. She wondered if she maybe told him when he found her outside her home and carried her inside. Jonathan waited a few minutes before he continued " I know you wondering how I know but I saw you with him in his car...." Anna tears rolled down on her cheeks. He rushed to her side" hey don't cry now I won't tell anyone I promise .......... hush now you been crying too much...."

Anna nodded her head and they hugged each other tightly again.

After they let go of each other Jonathan spoke " I know you probably don't want to talk about what happened but I just want to ask you one thing , what happened today that hurt you so much ?". Anna hesitated to respond looking away from Jonathan. " Anna what happened? " Jonathan ask Anna again.

A tear rolled down Anna face before she softly spoke,

" he....... broke up with me". There was quiteness in the room for a few minutes. Jonathan looking at Anna feeling some kind of relief and sadness because Anna was crying.

Finally after sometime he gathered himself, he wiped Anna's tear with the back of his hand before he spoke " I'm sorry Anna"

When Anna told Jonathan that Nelson had broken up with her, he must admit he felt some kind of relief in his heart because their involved with each other was so wrong but he hid the relief he felt from her instead he focused on making Anna feel better because she was truly hurt by the situation. when still trying to comfort her he had grabbed ahold of her hands , he held them tightly in his hands he began speaking to her gently " i'm sorry Anna , i know it hurts alot right now but you'll be okay in time you'll see , sorry " . He kissed her forehead.

Anna cried her eyes out while Jonathan held her tightly in his arms for a longest period of time. Jonathan ended up spending the night at Anna's . He slept on the big sofa while Anna slept on her bed. He could have driven to his home but he just didn't want to leave Anna alone that night.
