I woke up feeling better than I had in the weeks since Nick died. I felt rested and calm. It took me awhile to totally wake up but when I did, I noticed two things.
One being that Matt was sound asleep beside me and two, he had his arms wrapped around my waist or more like my baby bump. My very large baby bump.
He looked so peaceful, when I tried getting up, he pulled me closer to him. I was at a loss as to what to do. How could he look so innocent? I knew better, this man lying beside me was a big bad Alpha. He was feared by many. Looking at him like this made my heart speed up and I wondered what it would be like to touch him.
I lifted my hand and pushed some of his hair from his face. As though my hand had a mind of its own, I ran my hand down his face. It was smooth to the
