Macy brought my dinner to my room that night. I was so tired from everything that had happened, and I just needed to lay down and put my feet up. My back was aching, and my feet were sore.
Nick's face flashed threw my head and I remembered how much he loved to take care of me. He would pull me into his lap and rub my back and rub my belly. I smiled thinking about how great my life was with him in it.
My eyes flew to the door leading to Matt's room and I wondered what he was doing. Was he even in there? I decided that I better check on Alex before I got too comfortable. I got up and walked the few doors down and opened the door and froze. There was Matt on the floor with Alex and Isabelle reading to them. My heart hurt thinking that Nick would never do this with Alex or Ari again.
