Chapter One
“I heard your mother telling our kids that you were found under a bridge,” Namjoon said to his husband whose head was laying on his lap. “Yeah, she convinced me that I was found under a bridge for about 3, 4 years,” Yoongi replies in an almost nostalgic manner, before sitting up to go towards his desk.
He opened a drawer in the filing cabinet and pulled out a folder that looked pretty full. Yoongi then walked back over to where he and his husband were sitting and opened the folder. “Are these all childhood pictures, Yoon?” Namjoon asked, looking at the photos in awe. Yoongi has been so adorable and still is to this day. “It’s something I keep in my cabinet just to look at and think about all these memories I have, and treasure.”
A knock on the door was heard and Namjoon then responded to the knock by saying “Who’s there?” A small tap was heard on the door then the response of “Mother Min, that’s who.” Namjoon then slightly chuckled at the response and got up to open the door. Then his two kids ran into the room and straight towards Yoongi since Namjoon had been talking with Mother Min when they ran in.
“Mommy!” They said at a sort of staggered time as they ran towards Yoongi to hug him. Yoongi being the loving parent he was, gave them a hug with warmth and love while embracing them at the same time. “Daddy!” They said and ran to do the same thing to their father. Mother Min heard the kids and when they made it over to Namjoon she walked towards Yoongi to give her son a hug like she hadn’t seen him in days when really it’s been an hour.
Namjoon and the kids soon joined Yoongi and Mother Min in their conversation, the kids being occupied with the paints that had been set out earlier when they left with their grandma, Yoongi and Namjoon talking with Mother Min. “Can we discuss something in the hall?” Mother Min asked in a serious tone. Not her usual tone was used but had even lowered her voice to prevent the kids from hearing what she said at all.
Instead of saying anything, they exchanged eye contact and then got up to talk in the hall. Once, the office door closed Mother Min immediately started the conversation of what was so important. “As you know some places in my district aren’t safe and as of now fights are breaking out, murders, all sorts of crimes.”
Mother Min then said something. that could change the entirety of their district.
And their life.
