"Don't make me repeat myself... What the hell did you do to May?" Miles snapped angrily as he slammed his hands on the table, making Nancy and Ashley flinched. They fondled with their fingers nervously.
Ashley opened her mouth to talk, but words failed her, and she ended up swallowing nothing. Waves of regret hit her hard at that moment. She shouldn't have messed with May.
"Forgive us, Mr. Miles... We didn't intend to do that. Please," Nancy went on her knees and pleaded with tears in her eyes.
