"Wife, I made breakfast. You should come to the dining let's eat together," Miles's voice sounded from outside a few minutes after I stepped out of the bathroom.
"Alright. I'll be there in a couple of minutes,"
"I'll be waiting," I heard his receding footsteps afterwards, and I presumed he must've gone back.
It's been five days since we did the DNA test thing, and we were supposed to get the result today.
For the umpteenth time, I picked up my phone and checked to see if my acclaimed Dad had sent me a text, but he didn't. I was grateful he didn't text me all this while just as I had demanded, but I was nervous since the result will be out today.
