When we got home, the clingy Logan who usually couldn't keep his hands off me was gone. Instead, he seemed distant and anxious. It was the exact same look he had earlier, right after my dad told me to leave the room so they could talk in private.
He walked straight past me into the bedroom, showered, and walked back out with just a towel around his waist. Right there in front of me, he dropped the towel to change into his shorts and singlet.
My throat went dry, and I instantly threw my hands over my face. My mind was already racing with thoughts I hated myself for having. His abs were mesmerizing, like they were actively drawing me in.
Peeking through the gaps in my fingers, I caught him looking right at me. A smug, teasing smile broke across his face.
"Is there a reason why you're covering your eyes?" he teased, his voice thick with amusement.
"I don't think it's appropriate for you to be naked in front of me," I stammered, trying to sound firm.
He let out a mocking laugh, clearly entertained by my sudden modesty, and stepped closer. He had only put on his singlet; his shorts were still forgotten on the bed.
Standing directly in front of me, he proudly displayed his d**k. My eyes locked onto the prominent veins tracing up his full length. The heavy, masculine scent of him filled the air, completely taking over my senses until I couldn't think straight.
"You've seen this twice, held it, and it’s even been inside you," he murmured, his tone shifting into a low, seductive purr. "Why are you still shy to look at it, sweetheart?"
He hooked a finger under my chin, forcing me to look up while his other hand slowly stroked himself.
I froze, completely stunned. I never expected him to do this, especially not after how worried he looked a moment ago.
He brought the tip of his c**k to my lips, brushing against them. I swallowed hard.
"No need to drool over it. It's all yours," he whispered smoothly, his eyes flashing with mischief as he bit his bottom lip. "Take it all."
Driven by pure instinct, I parted my lips and ran my tongue over the tip. I watched his chest rise and fall rapidly, his breath hitching in anticipation.
"s**t, Allie... Oh my God," he gasped, the words slipping out in a ragged whisper.
Just as I tried to take him deeper, he suddenly pulled back. He gently wiped the moisture from my lips with his thumb, his expression shifting back to that controlled, mysterious calm.
"Get some sleep and rest well," he commanded softly, finally pulling his shorts up and tucking his rigid length away. "We have plenty of exercise to do tomorrow."

In the morning, we got dressed for work. Logan had arranged for a delivery of new clothes to the house, and Thelma arrived right on time to style me.
She picked out a fitted, off-shoulder black dress that hit just above my knees, pairing it with matching black ankle-strap heels. It was professional but still incredibly cute.
By the time I walked out, Logan was already waiting impatiently in the driver's seat. "You're going to be late on your very first day resuming as my assistant," he teased, a playful roll of his tongue emphasizing that last word.
We had recently agreed on the merger terms. I was going to work as his assistant for the time being, but the combined corporate entity would strictly keep my dad's original company name. It felt like a fair compromise.
I slid into the passenger seat, and he immediately reached over to take my hand, pressing a warm kiss to my knuckles. "You look absolutely adorable."
"Thanks," I murmured, instantly looking out the window. A sudden wave of shyness washed over me, and I couldn't quite meet his eyes.
Noticing my hesitation, he chose not to push me on it. He just focused on the road while a quiet settled over the car. To hide my awkwardness, I unlocked my phone and pretended to be busy. I ended up scrolling through some of the incredibly explicit advice videos Laura had sent me earlier.
~This girl is going to be the death of me,~ I thought, a small smile tugging at my lips. Still, I knew she was only trying to help. She wanted to make sure my relationship didn't turn into a total disaster since this whole world of romance was still so brand new to me.
