The Kidnapping
All the fae folk were wondering what had truly happened to Queen Anthea’s child after the fire blew through the queen’s corridors of the Anderwood castle. All that the fae knew was that the Queen of the Unseelie Court had given birth to a healthy baby boy who she named Sterling Archer Anderwood and had silky black hair, eyes so deep of a blue that they put the ocean to shame, and skin so pale that he looked like snow. The fae folk also knew that he was born at midnight the day earlier, which is considered to be the most blessed time of the year and that after the fire in the Queen’s corridors the boy was missing and the queen was near death, thankfully fae folk heal quickly.
“ Gather everyone tell them I am to be making an important announcement today at noon”, Queen Anthea said to her most trusted advisor, Samael.
Samael gave a curt nod and left to gather the fae folk in the courtyard of the castle. When he was gone she had to decide whether or not she would tell them the full truth of what had happened or if she should tell them just a small part of the truth. Not even she really understood what had happened earlier that morning. All that she knew was that one of her own noble folk had stolen her day old son for an unknown reason other than what the noble told her, “This child is the prophesized”, after he spoke those words he bashed a candlestick into the queen’s head, and set fire to the Queen’s corridor. As the queen blacked out, she called the name of her first and only child, the only one capable of ruling the Fae kingdoms after her reign is through, she had already lost her mate and now her first born son, the only heir to the throne. She had to find him, no matter how long it takes.
