Emma December is just a busy, busy month. There’s no two ways about it. Between Sophie’s school holiday choir concerts, cookie exchanges, a gingerbread house-building contest I somehow got roped into judging, not to mention my family’s endless parade of December birthdays, dinners, and Christmas traditions… I feel like I haven’t sat down in three weeks. Jack hasn’t had it any easier. On top of the school festivities, his surgery schedule has been insane. He’s been squeezing in as many procedures as possible before the hospital shifts to holiday mode. He’s planning on taking off the whole two weeks of Sohie’s winter break.
