Emma “Well,” Jack announced, coming through the backdoor and stomping the snow off his boots. “I don’t think we’re making it to Michigan anytime soon.” “We’re snowed in! This is so cool!” Sophie declared from her spot at the kitchen island where she was digging into dinner. We had made homemade spaghetti and meatballs together for dinner.
