STEP SISTERS

In Melissa's home. Grim Grim the alarm clock rang ,it was 6:30am,it was time to get ready for school she reached for the clockand offed it. she stretched herself and took her phone started going through the social media, she heard a knock on her door , she kept the phone and pretended to be asleep. The door opened and it was her mom, ( m.s fino) . m.s jane fino is a singe parent, she and her husband had a divorce thirteen years ago, so she made sure she took good care of her daughter, melissa. melissa, i know you are not asleep . get up and prepare for school. she said authoritatively as she opened the curtains to allow sunlight to enter the room. The room was decorated with melissa's pictures and it has a very big bed which was big enough to contain four people.The curtains were blue in color and the wallpapers were also blue. Melissa yawned pretending to be waking up just now.`Good morning mom' she greeted.Good morning young lady, you are getting late for school.she said. But mom this is the first day of resumption. melissa said rising slowlyfrom the bed .Melissa enough with your filthy excuses and remember that I am not ready to pay any fine this term and also I have already paid your school fees she said turning on the lights of the room. but mom you should have waited a bit longer, she said lying down again or her bed . Enough young lady and prepared for school you are no longer a kid, she said getting annoyed . And be quick, she ordered leaving the room. Be quick, melissa said mimicking her. she stood up from the bed and headed to the bathroom. 1 hour later. Mrs Fino was busy setting the dining table for breakfast .isn't Melissa done yet what's taking her too long ?she asked looking upstairs toward Melissa's room.` Melissa´` Melissa´ she called out but there was no response .Laura, Laura ,she called their house help. Yes ma'am, she answered. Can you go come Melissa for me is time for breakfast, she said okay Ma, she said leaving. In Melissa's room. Everyday school, during holiday ,extra moral lessons, no break for me in this house, she said to herself as she brushed her knock,knock ,someone knocked on her door. come in, she said. laura entered the room .Hi Laura, she greeted .Hi ,Your mom told me to tell you that breakfast is ready .she informed her . What did you make? Melissa asked. potato pudding,she answered .oh every day balanced diet, every day. she said to herself . okay you can go, she ordered. she made a slit bow and left . she applied some lipgloss and carried her bag and went downstairs to have breakfast.
