I sat up in amazement on my bed still in disbelief…I read the text one more time. I'm so shocked.

Yes! I got an investor.

It was the best morning…my head still hurts from yesterday's party.

He believed in my proposal, I'm putting my hope in getting an investor again.

Hopefully he won't disappoint when we meet like the other investors.

I took my phone to call Emilia immediately.

“Hi Kathy ,you call woke me up.”she said

"Set up a meeting and be positive through the meeting.” she added

I prepared and went through the proposal again.Nothing must go wrong this time.I’m giving it my all for him to believe in my company vision.

I picked a fitted red corporate dress above my knees for the meeting.. It is a perfect dress for a business meeting.

I looked at the mirror all dressed up, anxious on how the meeting would go.I had set up the meeting for 5:00pm but I couldn't wait any longer until 4:00pm.

It is a good thing I arrive there early , 1 hour early is not too hard.

I said to myself looking at myself in the mirror “You got this ,Kathy.”

I picked my purse and left for the meeting. The driver was waiting for me.

“I will drive myself.”I said and dismissed him.

I couldn't stop thinking about the meeting until I got to the venue.

Before stepping out of my car,I could feel how nervous I was.

“Relax Katherine,” I whispered to myself.

This meeting could change everything for me.

I got to the venue and decided to relax on the coach. It was so comfortable .My mind started doing a deep thought.

My mind kept replaying the same question.

Why did Damian agree so quickly?

The other investors barely gave me a chance before rejecting me but he did.

Maybe Emilia had convinced him.

Or maybe…

He actually believed in my vision. There is nothing for him not to believe.

It all stated in the proposal,if he had believed in my vision it is because he sees it as a good investment.

I put the word in place and ready to take action effectively in making it a success.

He is lucky to invest in the vision early,a profit in his advantage.I answered myself,

making my chest feel lighter.I stood up and walked around the rented office spot the mirror lamp. I looked at my reflection.

A few minutes later, a message notification popped up .

I'm at the venue , Katherine.

Damian is here , I texted back.

“Walk straight down, the first room on your left.”

I had my seat , anxious of what he looked like now and what the outcome of the meeting would be.

My eyes lifted automatically. As I noticed his shadow on the glass made door.

A tall figure stepped into the room dressed in an all-black suit.

Time had changed him completely.

His eye landed on me, immediately he entered the room.

He walked up to me , He opened his arms.

I leaned in to hug him and pulled away in a second.

“It is so good to see you again after a long while Katherine , how have you been ?”

Have been good , I'm so grateful for setting up this meeting with me and believing in my vision.

It's the least I could do to get into business with a gorgeous intelligent woman.

(My dopamine level just increased) I smiled.

Your proposal has a good structure on purpose , vision, profit and losses.I must give you this it is a well detailed structured proposal. He said

As much as I would like to be an investor into your vision , I will not be comfortable if you address me had Mr!

Oh ,I'm sorry Damian.I smiled.

It's fine, being a brilliant tech genius , I could contribute greatly to the company.

For the past few weeks , Damian and I have been planning and completely involved in the company from meeting with clients to late night meetings.

How invested he is in making a successful one melt my heart ,He is so intelligent.

One night, we stayed back at the office reviewing financial projections. We just got our first client through Damian's help.

We named the company from our name kaD Solar Energy (deals with generating light from the ground and has created accessible ground-installed lighting systems for public use.)

I dropped my pen, after 4 fours of reviewing all detailed projection (Financial ,Economic )

“I’m exhausted.” I said

Damian in his chair watching me.
