My duel with Kade did not cause me any serious injuries. Kade had skillfully avoided hitting me in places that would have caused deep wounds. I had bled a lot, but I recovered after a couple of days.
No one at Silvermoon Academy mocked me for losing the duel. Everyone was obsessed with Kade, the Prince who had made a sudden appearance. The conversation centered on praising him, and no one saw my defeat as a humiliation. After all, he was the Prince, and losing to him was an honor.
