When we came out of the dining room, the sky was completely dark. This bustling castle was surprisingly quiet. No servants were around. It seemed everyone in the castle knew the King and Queen's routine and wouldn't disturb them. Under the ink-black sky, it was just Kade and me, with the stars and the occasional night breeze as our only witnesses.
But my mind was not as peaceful as my body.
