Nora's POV
I woke up not in a bed, not in the room I'd fallen asleep in, and not with Kade. Instead, I was on the floor of a strange room, surrounded by students who looked like they were in a bad way.
I rubbed my head, and it all came rushing back. Kade had told me something was wrong downstairs, but his calm presence, combined with the way he’d exhausted me, made it impossible to stay awake. So I'd fallen into a deep, dreamless sleep.
I knelt up and looked at the werewolves around me. They were all convulsing, their eyes rolled back in their heads, mumbling to themselves. Their movements and the low groans were what had woken me up.
