Charles I stand there for a moment, staring at the body, trying to process what I’m seeing. This is her. The woman Carl showed me. The woman who poisoned Molly. The woman who hired him. The woman who tried to have my mate killed in Whispering Pine. And now she’s lying on the floor with her heart ripped out like she meant nothing. Molly is shaking beside me. I feel it through the hand I’m holding. It’s subtle, but I know her too well to miss it.
