*CONFUSION AND SEDUCTION*

Daniel's POV

We arrived in Seattle three days ago and it has been boring not productive at all. As a Lycan prince I am supposed to have a mate by now but it's pretty clear that she is nowhere in Australia or London or Asia and that was making me sick. I was to be king soon and that can not happen till I get my Queen, so me and my Beta Aaron are here in Seattle for my training and searching for my mate. The day had been boring so we decide to go to the local Arcade to play some games and as usual show off haha I loved it when human girls fell for us and we just ignore them unless she is really attractive. We walk into the Arcade oozing with confidence and dripping of cause showing off the riches. I have to say, the girls were drooling but I hadn't seen anyone attractive yet until she walked in...Her aura was so strong, really powerful and her scent gosh; strawberries and pepper mint who knew it goes well together and that it was my favorite. "MATE" my wolf yells in my head. " I know I know I hell at my wolf Dacker, she is gorgeous." She was wearing simple blue jeans a white crop top and a biker jacket with studs on it and to top it off these knee high heeled boots. She looked beautiful like the Queen she is about to be.

"I am guessing from the smug loverboy look you got right now and how hard you are gripping these rails...our trip here has just become fruitful." Aaron nugges me laughing hard at how I look

"Damn Aaron ...she is gorgeous just look at that body, well don't look too long I'll rip you apart" I warn him. As much as I want to show off my girl she is still my mate and I'm jealous.

WAIT....she isn't acknowledging me is she human, but her aura is too powerful for a human it can't be...something is wrong. " Aaron, something is wrong, she isn't acknowledging me or even showing that she can sense her mate...is she human? but her aura.."

"dude just go talk to her. Maybe she is not 18 yet she looks young...just go there already" Aaron advices me and I guess this is it. I'm going in.

I have to admit ..I'm nervous and I try to start a conversation with her but she seems to be distracted. Gosh she looks so beautiful and foreign..she has this Latino body and a foreign face like she has a mixed Latino and Virginia family. When she finally responds I'm lost, the way she is just confident and fiesty has my pants bulging already. I challenge her to a game and it was so fun watching her win all of them, well I swallowed my pride and let her win not that I needed to though. She is pretty good for a girl it's really sexy. What confuses me is that confidence she has and being so competitive she must have Beta blood or even Alfa blood because her aura is sooo powerful but she seems human. Something is going on.

Anyway right now I just want to have a great time with her I will figure it out tomorrow...so...I asked her out and to say that I was shocked when she insisted on going there and then will be an understatement. As a prince I was not letting the opportunity slide, I mindlink Aaron who is busy eating some girls lips and tell him that I'll be back. As usual I'm ignored because the man is busy haha the irony. We go to look for her brother so she can tell him that we are leaving and to my surprise..its f**ken Earl Jones son of Alfa Mario Jones of Seattle wait if ..that means...oh gosh I face palm myself as he drags Eva to talk to her so I don't hear them. They come back and I have to bring dear sister back by 10pm ugghhhh Earl is literally being an ass right now but it's a take it or leave it situation. I TOOK IT. I'll have to talk to him about all this because I am confused.

I spend my time with Eva eating tacos and knowing each other more. Well I responded to all her questions of cause leaving out the werewolf stuff because I'm confused if she is aware or just playing with me. My conclusion of her being a human was ruled out the moment I saw Earl because that guy is definitely a wolf. We attended pre-Alfa training together, we would go out to look for girls together and damn what are the odds his sister is my mate. Talk about bad luck for me haha Earl will definitely give me a hard time. Dacker keeps whining in my head that he can't feel her wolf and he was making me agitated I had to block him off I don't need sadness right now. On our way back she started acting a bit weird like the time she almost jumped out of her seat, if it wasn't for the seat belt she would have. I asked her what's wrong and she just shrugged it off saying her mind is playing tricks. I didn't want her to be uncomfortable so I just let it go, I packed the car as we got back and helped her out of the car. I couldn't help myself when she got infront of me..her perfect body and height, she is actually short but the boots modified the height and it was just perfect. I leaned in and pulled her neck closer to me and gave her a soft kiss. She blushed and said goodbye to me then started walking towards her brother who was giving me a death glare.

Then it happened...she suddenly fainted.

"EVA!!!!!" I yelled running towards her. As I reach her I hear Earl scream something in the lines of 'this not happening again' What did that mean.

"Earl what's going on?" I asked worry laced in my voice

"Nothing that concerns you Reeds. You should probably go." he responds. Gosh rude much. The only reason he is allowed to be rude to me is because he is my long friend otherwise I would have ripped his head off right now. Plus he is my mate's brother...ughhh this is just stressful. I should put him in his place though

" First of all Earl, I am your Prince you should respect me and secondly this all concerns me because your sister is my f**ken mate. So you better tell me What the Hell is going on.?!!!"

He looks at me with so much anger but it's quickly replaced with a worried face. He sighs and asks me to help take her to the car. I pick up my mate and go to their car and lay her on the back seat while Earl calls his father.

" Uhmm, Daniel." he pulls me out of my misery. I was just standing there waiting for him to say something at least tell me what was going on. Then he continues, " I would love to tell you what is going on but it's not in my place to do that. Thank you so much for your help I have to take my sister home now...I promise to fill you in on her health though then when she gets better maybe you can have a meeting with my father to discuss all this."

With that he bows and gets into the car and drives off. I literally did not have the strength to follow...I guess I just have to wait till she is better and that family tells me what it's all about.

I was miserable going back to our hotel room. Imagine kissing someone then she faints seconds after, like you poisoned her or something. Haha this is so bad. I decided to sleep I will tell Aaron about it tomorrow he is not even here yet..he is probably with the girl he was eating up back at the Arcade. Goodess I hope my mate is okay...I am thankful for finally meeting her but also sad that she is not okay.

The weekend goes on like nothing happened like honestly that petty wolf said he will inform me on her health and I haven't got anything. Monday arrives and I almost forgot that I had to go teach at that high-school. honestly I did not want to but my old friend needed a favour and my father said it will help me with my training too so I had no option. I put on my navy blue gucci suit, first impressions matter. When I'm done I see Aaron already dressed like my bodyguard ready for us to go to the school. All I could think about was Eva, all this was just pissing me and my wolf off. On the way to the school I tell Aaron everything that happened and how I just want to be beside my mate...he assures me that she is okay and promises to look for information so we know what exactly happened. We reach the school a little earlier than I wanted but hey first impressions right. I go to the main building to get my schedule, if I hadn't found my mate I would have definitely asked the secretary out on a date..she was beautiful and sweet flirtatious too. Ohhh well another one bites the dust, all I want is Eva her smile and her brown captivating eyes, her perfect body and radiance is exactly what I need...my Queen.

"Heyyy ...stop thinking about her and concentrate. Remember this is also part of your training and you cannot fail this we will be killed dude. Let's deal with the Eva situation after your class is done alright."

As much as I didn't want to listen to this mutt tell me what to do, Aaron was right. I have to pass this and prove I can do anything. Eva my love I'll deal with you after my class I promise I will find you and be by your side so you get better quickly.

I enter the lecture room organised my books and wrote my name on the white board. MR D. REEDS.

"A pleasant morning to you all intelligent people, I am Mr Reeds" I point to the board as I introduce myself " and I'm your replacement teacher, you will be taking History lessons with me." The students suddenly start clapping and cheering for me while some of the girls were busy ogling me and praising my fashion sense. The wolves in the room bowed in acknowledgement as they know exactly who I am to them. I am about to start class when BAM strawberries and mint that scent that drives me crazy...its her...its her...I'm suddenly jovial and Dacker is running around like a lost puppy. The scent gets stronger and stronger I gripped the pen I was holding so tight my muscles started to show more vivid. And then the scent just disappears. WAIT what just happened did I imagine that

"NO," Dacker replies in my head "She is really here, she must have gone somewhere" This is so frustrating..let me just start teaching and I'll deal with all this after class.

"ok class let us open our books to page 15.." I stop midway, Eva all of a sudden walks in the class. She looks so beautiful. She is wearing a black poloneck paired with a red and blue scotch short flarred skirt, black ankle boots and a black Nike cap. Damn those clothes and their colours complimented her body and completion well. Magazine worthy. And she wore light makeup too however topped up with a deep red lipstick, she definitely owned the room when she walked in because everyone's attention was drawn to her. "Sorry sir I'm late, I was stuck in traffic you know how it is." She says to me while standing boldly infront of me. Goddess she is definitely an Alfa, the way she lights up the room and also seem intimidating, the confidence she has and how she just demands authority is uncanny. If she is not an Alfa then obviously she is a Beta.

"uhhh Mr Reed, can I take a seat if I'm forgiven" She slightly pouts to me waiting for my answer and I can see the whole class looking at our exchange.

"Yes yes you can sitdown now" I left my daze and replied her ...finally. Then she did something I really was not expecting....she winked at me. It was so sexy and junior Daniel was sprouting out of my pants.."its going to be a long day" I sigh inwardly.

The lesson goes on and on...its a war between myself and my d**k as I try by all means not to show what is going on down there. And all the time I would catch glances at Eva and she would smile at me or look at me in an arousing way, she was not making this easier for me at all.

I was also jealous at the way some of the guys looked at Eva. They definitely like her too and want to be in her pants. These stupid mutts she is mine and only mine. I occasionally have the wolf boys the look saying she is off limits but I guess they already knew. I could see that they like her but there was fear in their eyes...fear of rejection??? I'm guessing this is all Earl's doing..I vow it smells Earl for sure. When we were at camp he always talked about how he will mutilate any guy who tries to hit on his sister. Saying how gorgeous she is, I remember laughing at him yhinking he is lying about his sister's beauty but upon seeing Eva. It all made sense.

The bell rings signalling the end of the lecture and I just fall on my chair relieved but that's short lived. Some of the girls rush up to me and start asking me questions about where I am from, why I'm handsome, if I'm really rich..it was really annoying and some of them were even trying to flirt with me. "Save Me!" I mindlink Aaron for his help but before he could even get here, Eva starts walking towards me and instead of joining the rest of the girls infront of my desk she comes behind me and glares at the girls

"I am pretty sure you are annoying Mr Reeds here, why don't you just leave right now before I get angry" She tells them. Her voice filled with calm authority which would still make you shiver. And with that all the girls disappeared. She takes a deep breath then turns my chair around so I'm facing her and damn she is breathtaking.

"Well you should have asked me to bring your inhaler because you my guy are out of breath" Aaron laughs as her enters the classroom, "Aaron Kisley at your service mi lady" he reaches for Eva's hand and kisses her knuckles slightly bowing in respect. I can see Eva blush then she responds "Eva Jones...you can call me Eva. Sir" She laughs. All this while I'm just starstruck by this beauty infront of me, I just want to grab her and sit her on my lap and kiss her.

"just kiss her" Dacker yells

"didn't I block you from my brain you dog" I am literally irritated

"ohhh look who is calling who dog haha I am you dude..just kiss our mate already" he naggs

Just then Eva leans in my face and whispers into my ear " You look really sexy Mr Reeds, like a whole meal. And I don't like these girls drooling over you...but I'll take it if you promise to meet me after school today." She looks at me straight in the eyes. And all I could mutter is a faint 'yes'

She smiles at me then bites lightly my earlob moaning a little bit while she does. My d**k is a mess right now and my body is sweating.

"Byee see you after school" She yells as she leaves the room leaving me hungry for her. I sigh and put my face into both my hands in frustration and that mutt Aaron is busy laughing at me...
