Book 2. Chapter 4.

1681 Words

Jax’s POV. Three shots fired. Each hitting inches from our feet. I know my face has paled and I think a bit of pee left my body as I look down and back up to see Candy standing there with the hardest of glares on her face as she keeps the gun trained on us. “JESUS CHRIST! GIVE ME THE f*****g GUN, CANDY!” Tito shouts but she doesn’t flinch, doesn’t blink as she glares at us with so much hate in her icy blue eyes. I take her in, the swell of her belly in the hospital gown, the bandage down her arm, her hair still in a messy bun thing, ash still on her face. “No. You gave it to me. It is mine.” She says with a growl in her tone, not breaking eye contact with us. I gulp, yeah, I gulp. I’m not ashamed to admit she f*****g terrifies me. I know we f****d up and will have to crawl on our bell
