Family Secret

It started out as a normal day for Aristophonese and Ana until their mother told them the family secret. "Ari! Ana!" their mother yelled. "I need to talk to you!" As the girls ran down Aristophonese said accusingly "What did you do, Ana?" "Nothing! What did you do, Ari?" Ana replied. "I did nothing. I'M the good child." Ari said smugly. When the twins got downstairs they saw a woman in the door. "Who is this, mom?" Ana asked. Ana is a tall, skinny young teen with raven hair. Ari, on the other hand, is a short, skinny young teen with scarlet hair. "Girls, this is Headmistress Hathaway of Angel Academy. Angel Academy is where all of our family has gone to master our powers, and that is where you both will be attending starting tomorrow." Said their mother, Maia, who is a short, skinny woman with snow-white hair.

"What!?" exclaimed the girls in unison. "You've got to be kidding mom! We don't have powers! You're out of your mind!" Ari exclaimed fervently. The girls were shocked that their mother would try to pull a trick like this on them, especially when they knew they didn't have powers. How could they? They are human, they've always been human nothing more...or so they thought. What they didn't know was that their mother's side of the family are all angels and their fathers are all demons, spawns of Lucifer himself. The world as Ari and Ana knew was about to change... FOREVER.

Maria had come to Earth to go to a human college and that's where she meet the girl's father. She didn't know at the time who he was. They started hanging out and then started dating. After they had been together for about two years he told her his secret and she told him hers. Their reaction to each other shocked the other. She didn't care that he was the devils son and he didn't care that she was an angel. They loved each. Soon they were married and about six months after they were married she found out she was pregnant with twins.

Two weeks before the twins were born some bad news fell them. Rara had to return to Hell because his father had become ill. They didn't know how much longer he had. Rara went to take care of his father and because of that he did not get to watch his twin daughters grow up. Maria had to raise them alone and she didn't know what to do half the time. She dearly missed Rara.

They loved each other so much, she thought that they would be together for a long time and would have more children. Because she married him she knew that she couldn't go back to Heaven. She would never be allowed to see her family ever again. It was illegal for a angel and a demon/devil to be together. What was she going to do? She decided she would raise them in the human world and raise them as normally as possible. She would not tell them about what they really were until they started developing powers. It was going to be a long and hard ten years.
