around 5 to 6pm the Cafe is usually busy, people that get off work pass by to get things like coffee, bread and ready to go to dinner, then in the afternoon students from the nearby university use it as a study place from 1 pm to 5pm. at 7 they wind up and lock the doors,Susie receives her weekly pay every Friday. by the time she reaches home it's around 9 pm, she doesn't have to worry about little rayas dinner , she makes it at the Cafe and Patricia picks it up after school every day, she could eat at Patricia's house but because of certain allergies and health conditions Catherine has to prepare her food always.

life hasn't always been easy as a single mum, it had its ups and downs but with people like Patricia who was already a single divorced mum and Jerry who acted like a father figure to Raya, then Justine who acted like little rayas big brother protected her always, Catherine was greatful that she had these people in her life, they helped her when she needed help and encouraged her.

the next day came and the same, she would wake up and clean the house, wake up Raya and bathe her, make Breakfast and drive her to school, the Cafe opened at 8 30 and breakfast is served to morning customers, a regular customer named Brian a medical physician who has been trying to get Catherine on a date with him, but she has never given him an answer, she was still afraid of being in a relationship, but Brian never gave up, he has been chasing her for 3 years now.

smiling from ear to ear Brian walked out with his coffee, Catherine could've help but laugh at how silly he looked, he had such a serious job but his personality was like a cheerful kid. and he really likes Raya he would go to parks with her and justine.
