We stormed the company like mercenaries going on a mission, and I swaggered into the elevator leading to the CEO’s office. My expression was grim as a few staff silently assessed me, staring with the probability of hate lingering in their minds as they watched us leave the elevator. Damned company. We had to walk some three minutes after leaving the elevator to get to the CEO’s office. I will be sure to fix that when I have claimed ownership of the company.
For now, there is a war to wage.
