Keda POV
I woke up the next morning. I still had no clue what happened yesterday, but when I did wake up to all my things, I was being moved into the house. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It felt like forever since I had seen it when in reality it had probably been on the better end of 2 months. A couple of guys stayed behind as extra protection to make sure Luka wouldn't mess with him and the other girls who worked there. I was not about to let them get hurt because of something that happened between Luka and I. I was so happy, and I was so ready to have my things back.
Luke decided to have my old dingy matress thrown out, and I was glad because I needed a new one anyway. He said I was going to be set if I stayed here, but it would be my choice. I was still learning to trust, but I kind of liked it here out in the country where I was going to be hard to find. I liked Luke, and for some reason, I felt a strong bond with him, and I couldn't figure out why. I kept it to myself, but I was able to unpack my boxes, and when I found all my cooking and baking supplies, I was so excited. I loved to make wedding cakes, design wedding dresses, jewelry, and more for fun.
I decided to make a thank you cake to Luke for all his help. He didn't have all the ingredients, and Josh was standing out by the front door. Since I couldn't find Luke, I decided to ask him. I took him a cup of hot chocolate since the air began to turn crisp, and we had a little snowfall. I asked him if I could make something for the guys who helped me so much, and if I didn't have what I needed, what could I do about that. He smiled and sipped his hot chocolate, and his eyes went gray white, and he looked like he was thinking or something, and honestly, it was wearding me out.
I couldn't help but poke his shoulder and ask if he was ok. He smiled as his eyes went back to their normal bright green with a hit of blue as he smiled and looked at me. " I am fine. it's how I communicate with Luke. It's called a mindlink for us werewolves. humans dont have it, unfortunately, even if they are mated to us. Also, Luke said he will be home in about thirty minutes, and if you feel up to it, he can take you grocery shopping, and you can get everything you need." said Josh so softly.
He was a very sweet guy and one of the few who didn't give me the creeps. I didn't think werewolves existed but in mythical stories for little kids to hear about as they grew up. I have been hearing about Santa, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, Werewolves, Vampires, and many other mysthical creatures such as elves as well. I didn't believe in them, but the ordeal with Josh and how his eyes got so hazy looking and then went back to being a beautiful green with a tint of blue, well that had to be something. All I could do, though, was make a shopping list and hope for the best. I planned on making some more wedding dresses and jewelry, anything I could do and make a website in hopes of selling anything I could and maybe opening up a shop.
Being the ultamate wedding planner, designer, wedding cakes, or birthday cake makers had always been my dream. I really was hopeful to this happening one day and that I would be able to one day teach my kids this, and they could help run the business with me. I was so excited, and I felt like this was going to be a great idea. I just didn't want Luka to be able to find me, and I hoped he would leave me alone, especially if he knew who Luke was, and they said who they really were. For now, I had some people who were out here at the house helping me move things around so I could feel more at home in my room. When Luke came home, he had more dishes than what he had.
I wasn't sure how he would feel about all of it, but I felt at home, and I loved having everything that I needed here. Luke could see my smile, and I knew he wouldn't mind because he has told me to do what makes me happy. I was happy to see him happy when I was pulling out the meat to let it thaw out so I could season it and make dinner for us. I thought since I was having three kids, maybe I should try some meat here and theirs. I couldn't stand to eat meat, but I ate it when I had to when I was growing up. When I got to being old enough to live on my own and pay my own bills, I became a vegitarian fully, and I felt better since doing that.
He came at me like he was going to give me a hug, and I, of course, scrunched up my body. I still wasn't sure how to feel about all of this, and I was getting used to being in a strange place. He felt so bad, and I could hear him moving slower before I felt his hand on my waist. " I'm sorry, are you ok. I wasn't trying to scare you at all. I was just so happy to see you smile and up and out of bed today." said Luke.
I uncrindged my whole body when I felt his hand on my waist. I turned in his arms facing his chest, and his smell was so amazing. He smelled like Jasmine tea with honey and a bit of spearmint. I felt great being with him, and when his hand touched my skin, I felt tingles and sparks all over my body. I could physically see the sparks along my whole body. He watched as my whole body started to show the sparks, and he was amazed by it, just as much as I was.
I just stood thier and staired at him for a while. I could see he felt bad about scaring me. My main priority is the babies and I will do what ever I have to do to protect them. I gave him a hug to tell him in my way that I forgave him and that I was ok. The sadness in his eyes told me that he knew that he came at me to fast and he felt like a horible person. I slowly let go of him and walked into the kitchen and began making lunch for us so when we went shopping we were not buying things we didn't need.
I however was getting cravings for things I would normally not eat. I couldn't wait till the pregnancy was over and I was able to hold my babies. I had always wanted a big family and Lukes house was big enought to have 8 bedrooms 6 bathrooms, and 3 living rooms. I liked Luke a lot and I wanted to stay and take care of him, but I was afraid to tell him how much I was beginning to like him. We went to the store and I was picking out all sorts of things that were on my shopping list. After that I decided it was time to get some maternity clothes really fast so I could have something to fit into.
I tried on a few dresses and some maternity leggings. I even found some maternity pants and cute shirts. I was not sure though how I felt about all of it. I did show Luke each outfit and thank goodness nothing we got was cold. I decided to save getting all the cold foods last. Finally I just decided to get the ones I really liked so I ended up with like 4 dresses, 4 legging, one pair of pants, and a couple of shirts that were long enough to look like dresses.
I was so happy I found some good clothes and now I was going to have stuff to fit into other than my sweat pants. After another half hour of shopping to get the rest of what we needed I was ready to go home. I offered to help pay for the groceries but I was told no to save my money and to take classes one at a time so when I had the babies it wouldnt be too much on me all at once. I decided while I could I would register for online classes for two classes and then I would take a break for the spring and summer arounf the time I was due to have the babies. I expected a regular pregnancy but theses babies were growing fast and the doctor that I had seen here said for werewolf pups it was only a six month pregnancy and I was already into the two and a half month mark roughtly. Having triplets was going to be even more risky and I was told to still do some things but to not over do it.
I now was a part time college student and Luke told me he had a surprise for me at home. When we got home he blind folded me so I had to learn to trust him to guide me to my room. When we got thier he unblinded me showing me a desk I had stopped and looked at when we went shopping and as desk top computer and printer I was looking at too. He even got me one of those great computer chairs that was great for back support especially while your pregnant. I sat down in my new chair in awe when he put a box infront of me. I opened it up to find a laptop with a laptop case, some batteries and a wireless mouse.
It was the exact ones I had been working on. "I thought you might like all of this. I wanted you to feel at home and I wanted you to be able to have a choice of working in the chair or on the laptop. I thought it might help make you feel more comfortable throughout your pregnancy." said Luke. All I could do was smile and hope that I would do well. Thank you I said softly as I bowed my head.
