Months later….. Arya sat down by her window lost in thought. “Arya, " her mother called, walking into her room. Everyone is so happy for you today. And your dad is so excited to take you there, too. Hurry up and get ready. “ Arya signed.“I don’t want to go Mum”. “ Why not?”Her mother asked, patting her hair. She understood the look on her daughter's face. She knew Arya was still not over Jamal’s disappointment. “I’m going to give your heart a tight slap. It’s been tormenting you for six months now, it’s so stubborn. Your heart doesn’t call the shots here okay? It should stop hurting my baby. It must listen to me okay.” Her mother pulled her in for a hug, still patting her hair.” Don’t waste your precious tears over an i***t okay. He’s so unfortunate to lose you. And I may have added too many chillis in the food today, save your tears for them.” Her mother said, trying to lighten the atmosphere. Arya finally smiled. “ Now get up and get ready darling. Your dad is waiting for you downstairs.” She said and stood up, walking out of the room. Arya got up and went into the bathroom and shut the door behind her. Some minutes later, she stepped out of her room, ready to go. She went downstairs and met her mum and Dad in the dining area. They had breakfast — bread, egg, and tea, which they finished in a few bites. When she was done, she took the dishes to the kitchen and went outside. Her dad was already waiting for her in the car. “Ready to go darling?” Her father asked, smiling at her. “Yes, Dad.” She said and got into the car. Halfway into the journey, Arya dipped her hand into her bag, searching for her phone and she couldn’t find it. Before she could say a word, her father stretched the phone towards her. “ You left it on the table.” “ Sorry, Dad.” She said. “ Forget your sorrows, like you always forget things, my dear.” He said trying to make her feel better.”Let go of the past.” Arya sighed, looking out of the window. Her family has been so supportive ever since it happened and she is so grateful for them. A motorcycle zoomed past, catching her attention. She looked over at the rider, black short hair, a singlet, and a black leather Jacket. He was charming. Before she could admire him more, he zoomed off, away from her sight. They got to the front of a huge building, and her father pulled over. “Break a leg in your interview my dear. We’ll be waiting at home to receive our latest journalist.” Arya nodded and smiled. She came down from the car holding her diary in her hands and looked up at the tall glass building in front of her. This was it, the place where her interview would be done, and it would be decided if she would get the Job or not. She adjusted the strap of her bag and walked inside. As she made her way inside, lost in thought, she didn’t notice the loose lace of her shoe rubbing the floor, until she stepped on it, almost falling face down to the floor and she looked down realizing she forgot to tie her shoe lace. Heat rushed to her cheeks, and she dropped her diary she was holding on the floor and bent down to tie her shoe lace, when the sound of a motorcycle distracted her again. She looked up and froze. It was the same motorcycle from earlier, and the same boy. Her heart thudded in her chest as she stared at him, almost forgetting what she was doing earlier. She watched as he came down from his motorcycle, then lit a cigarette and started smoking. He looked towards her, and she came back to her senses. She quickly tied her shoelaces and hurried inside when she saw him walking towards her.
