Jack’s P.o.V.
I woke slowly to the smell of bacon, stretching as I slowly sat up, trying to remember where I was. A smile lit my lips as I stretched, feeling the delicious ache from last night’s activities. I was alone in the living room of Vlad’s home, but someone was at work in the kitchen, cooking. Getting up and dressing, running my hands lovingly over the new hoodie. Once dressed I started to head for the kitchen, when I spotted Vlad’s shirt draped over the recliner. As I picked it up, I discovered it stained with some black, gritty substance. I frowned and carried it into the kitchen with me, finding a shirtless Vlad cooking at the stove.
“Vlad…” I began, walking with a slight limp to the ravenette’s side. He tensed, then turned to me and smiled brightly.
“Good morning, Jack!” He said, setting down the spatula down on the counter to pull me into his arms. He placed a soft kiss on my cheek.
“What is this, Vlad?” I asked, holding up the stained shirt. After everything Pitch had put us through, I feared the worst with his answer. He took the shirt in his hand and caressed my cheek with his other.
“I solved our problem, Jack. No more worries. Our family will be safe now.” He promised, kissing me gently. I kissed back, rubbing his still-flat belly.
“I glad...but what do you mean, you solved our problems?” I asked as he held me gently, nuzzling into my touches.
“I killed Pitch with my uncle’s sword. He threatened our child and it made me so angry, I just ran him through.” He admitted, growling a bit before hugging me tight. My eyes widened and my stomach clenched in shock.
“You killed...Pitch?” I gasped out, blushing as he kissed me again.
“I did. For us, our family. Now sit, breakfast is almost ready.” He murmured, pushing me toward the kitchen table. I just sat at the table, my mind racing. Pitch was dead, Vlad was pregnant. It was like a happily-ever-after at the end of a fairytale. It felt too unreal. I was shaken from my thoughts as a plate of eggs, bacon, and homefries was placed gently in front of me. I smiled up at him as he sat across from me with his own plate.
“I love you, Vlad.” I said as I picked up a slice of bacon and took a bite of it.
“I love you too, Jack. Forever.” He said, his eyes on mine as he spoke, sending a shiver of delight down my spine. This was happiness, true happiness, and I couldn’t get enough of it.

3 months later
Vlad’s P.o.V.
I stood in front of a display case full of sparkling diamond rings, all unique, all not what I was looking for. For the last several weeks I had gotten a job and worked hours unend to save up enough money to buy Jack a ring. After all we had been through, all we had survived together, there was nothing I wanted more than to marry my beloved frost prince. The lady behind the counter cleared her throat at me. I had been there for hours, unable to make a decision as I looked over the options.
“Do you have anything else...I don’t think diamonds are what I’m looking for.” I said, rubbing the back of my neck nervously. To her, I probably just looked like some stupid teenager, messing around in a jewelry store. She rolled her eyes, but nodded and pulled a small shoe box sized display box out of the cabinet behind her.
As she set it on the counter in front of me, I looked over the handful of rings in the box and there it was. The perfect ring for my beloved. It was silver, with an infinity symbol. Diamonds covered the center swoosh of the symbol while the a garnet and sapphire stones filled in the holes of it. It was pure beauty and represented our love exactly.
“That one.” I said with a sureness I had never before possessed. The woman blinked and frowned, but pulled the ring from the box and carried it over to the cash register.
“It’ll be $356.89 after taxes. We do take payments.” She said, looking at me disdainfully. I was so glad to have saved up as I pulled the cash out of my pocket and counted it out for her, a part if me a little smug as her eyes widened in surprise.
“I have the 89 cents!” I said, stopping her from just grabbing the cash as I dug the change out of my pocket and counted it out as well. “There. Exactly $356.89. It comes with a ring box right?” I asked innocently as she took the money speechlessly and put it into the cash register.
“Y-Yes, sir. Here is your purchase. Thank you for buying from Dominy’s Jewelry.” She said, handing my the ring box. I took it and nodded, walking away. I was running late to meet my beloved boyfriend in our belfry hideout. I had a proposal to make to him.
I arrived outside the school, dressed in my best outfit. I levitated up to the belfry and slid inside, smiling brightly at Jack, who sat in my father’s chair, illuminated by candlelight alone. He had his arms crossed and was frowning at me, likely mad that I was late. But he would forgive me soon.
“Jack Frost, my beloved ice prince. I know I’m late, but it’s because I had to find the perfect one. Jack, will you marry me?” I asked, going to one knee before him and pulling the box from my pocket, opening it so he could see the ring. His eyes widened and he covered his mouth as he gasped.
“Vlad...are-are you serious?” He squeaked, standing from the chair and moving closer to me.
“Yes, Jack. I want to marry you, the father of my baby and the love of my life.” I said, blushing as I watched tears well in his eyes. Suddenly he threw himself at me, sending us both sprawling as he kissed me hard.
“Yes, yes, yes. Vladimir Thomas Tod, I will marry you.” He exclaimed and I slipped the ring on his finger. It was the beginning of our forever together, the beginning of our happiness. The bad stuff was done, the nightmares conquered, and the wounds were healed. It was time to move on and embrace our eternity. The Frost Spirit and the Pravus, what a pair.
