The battlefield was hell.
The Abyss Wolf, though incomplete, loomed over the ruins of Eldoria, its body shifting between shadow and form. Its tendrils spread like skeletal fingers, reaching, consuming, devouring everything in their path. I watched in horror as warriors—our warriors—were pulled screaming into the void, their bodies unraveling as the Abyss drained them of life.
The air crackled with dark energy, thick and suffocating. My wolf growled inside me, but even she trembled against the force before us. This wasn’t just a monster. It was the nightmare. The thing our ancestors had tried to bury in legend.
And now, it was here.
And it was hungry.
Raymond stood beside me, his breaths ragged but steady. His golden eyes burned with fury, his body tense, ready to fight.
